Proof of payment was emailed to Burblepix clearly advising payment for a specific size (R389 less R50 discount voucher = R339). Their online ordering system does not work & I was not able to make credit card payment reflecting voucher code discount. An EFT was done for R339 (R389 less R50 voucher) for a 198 x 198 book. Instead they printed a 148 x 148 book which costs R339. I received email confirmation that the order was received but there was no Invoice or detail describing the size of book ordered. So the order is wrong & I have no proof that I ordered the 148 x 148 as they claim. My proof of payment clearly outlined the payment breakdown. Another example of poor African service and passing the buck with zero effort to resolve the complaint.
Before I rant I would like to state that a year ago I posted a compliment for this company on this site. Due to the fact that we used to drink large quantities of their wine we were more prone to have quality issues. Their stock rotation is not 100% & from time to time we had box wine that was past it's best date. The boxes are labelled on packing date so it is difficult for the consumer to guage whether they are still okay. The complaint was handled highly unprofessionally & we were copied in on internal emails which inferred that we were complaining to get free wine. Sadly, despite an apology from the CEO, the parties involved never apologised & 4 months later the wine is still unreplaced. As a result they have lost a loyal customer & we no longer buy their wine
