I made use of the Nandos app to make an order for collection at Nandos (Tokai branch). The app indicated that the order would be ready for collection by 18h30. My wife arrived to collect at 18h35 and when making payment was told it would be a few minutes. The order was only ready 35 minutes later. I called Nandos to complain about the service received and was told that the Tokai branch would contact me. Someone called me and didn't really seem to be too interested but said they would look into the matter. I have heard nothing since. Another example of poor client service!!
My son travelled on United Airlines to the USA and had 350 dollars removed from his back pack by the security personnel employed by United Airlines at Cape Town International Airport. This was captured on the security cameras at CT International. This is obviously a concern as security personnel should obviously be trustworthy and not inclined to ***** from customers. United Airlines don't really seemed interested in addressing the issue. Therefore be warned when travelling with United that you can't trust the security personnel they have in place.
My son is based at university in the USA so frequently travels between USA and South Africa. When he departed back to USA in August on UA2223 from CT International Airport he had any amount of 350 dollars ****** from his wallet by a security person checking those boarding the flight. I have taken this up with United Airlines but they are not really interested in getting involved. ACSA security have the person on camera digging in the backpack to ***** the money but refuse to release the footage to me. It is obviously very concerning that personnel that are meant to protect United Airlines clients are dishonest and are getting away with it due to the lack of interest of United Airlines to get involved with sorting out this issue of theft. I tried to lay a charge with SAPS but they say it is out of their jurisdiction. So be extra aware if you travel with United when their security search your bags etc as they could remove items knowing that United and SAPS are not really interested in rectifying the situation. Will be traveling with Delta in the future to avoid such instances.
