I ordered a Meta Quest 3s on 24th Nov 2024 and got given a delivery date of 5th December, 2 days later I decided to call the supplier Game4u Gateway who confirmed that they have stock of the unit. Order number 165930393. Why do I have to go around doing this when you could have easier done this? Why do I have to wait 2 weeks to get my order when the store that is less the. 15 minutes away has stock? Please resolve this before I cancel the order and go directly to the supplier
Hi, I took out a loan a while back, I lost my job, and went under debt review. I paid up all outstanding debt that I had while I was on Debt review. We could not find any outstanding debts in my name. Upon going to Capitec to ask for a load I was told that I have an outstanding debt that has been sold to a 3rd party Norman Bissett And Associates. This was done in December 2016. It has since been 7 years without any communication therefore this debt should be prescribed. I require a Complaint Reference Number for your Dispute Resolution Unit. I also require a written response from Capitec's Dispute Resolution Unit. 0731229721 - Contact Number Section 126B in the NCA states that: ‘‘Application of prescription on debt 126B. (1) (a) No person may sell a debt under a credit agreement to which this Act applies and that has been extinguished by prescription under the Prescription Act, 1969 (Act No. 68 of 1969). (b) No person may continue the collection of, or re-activate a debt under a credit agreement to which this Act applies— (i) which debt has been extinguished by prescription under the Prescription Act, 1969 (Act No. 68 of 1969); and (ii) where the consumer raises the defence of prescription, or would reasonably have raised the defence of prescription had the consumer been aware of such a defence, in response to a demand, whether as part of legal proceedings or otherwise.’’. One would then be left to wonder, but why such emphasis on the prescription? What does it mean to the consumer and how is this fair towards the creditor? The insertion of Section 126B has brought a halt to the persecutions and threats of being negatively listed at the credit bureaux which consumers have had to endure if payments were not made. A debt that has not been collected on for an uninterrupted period of 3 years would have accruing interest and collection fees, which the consumer was liable to pay, and which may further lead to a negative listing at a credit bureaux. The section has also assisted in giving the creditor the right to collect on an outstanding debt and improving on collection systems to ensure timeous collections of debt. Generally, prescription is interrupted by acknowledgment, either in admitting to owing the debt or making a payment towards the debt, after which you will be held liable for further payment. It is imperative to understand that not all debts prescribe after the 3-year period. In terms of chapter 3 of the Prescription Act, certain categories of debt are set out with specific timeframes of prescription, which are: mortgage bond and a judgment – thirty years; cheques – six years; other types of debts such as your credit card, personal loan, cellphone contract and gym contracts prescribe after three years. Just as with Spring-cleaning, the Credit Ombud advises consumers to take advantage of cleaning out any adverse information that may appear inaccurately or incorrectly on your credit profile. You are entitled to a FREE credit report from the credit bureaux once a year. Start the Spring-clean process by contacting the credit bureaux and requesting for your credit profile. Should you believe that an account has prescribed, challenge this by logging a dispute with the relevant credit bureau. Ensure that you are provided with a dispute reference number and allow the bureau to investigate your dispute within 20 working days. Should the credit bureau not respond to you after the 20 working days or should you not be happy with their outcome, you may then contact the Credit Ombud for further assistance. The Credit Ombud also recommend that consumers acquire new habits, where you’ll align yourself with the new normal of being economical and creating space for new and wise financial decisions. My internet service went down on Friday 9th June 2023. I logged a ticket and attempted to call the support line to find out if there was any outages in our area and I was told that technicians are working on resolving this issue. It is now Monday 12th June and I have not received any update with regards to when the service will be restored. I used the whatsapp chat to get feedback and was given the below response: Unfortunately we will not be able to provide an estimated time on when it would be resolved yet as we are waiting for feedback from our technicians. We do apologies for the inconvenience.
I downgraded my package to 20MB package for R400, and a Sales person contacted me and told me she can upgrade me to 40MB line for R499, However, my package reflects 20MB, and my invoicing is a mess. Please contact me to resolve this as I do not understand how I log tickets and then no one contacts me and they automatically get closed. I can not see any updates on the tickets that I log. I have contact telkom twice to get two of my cellphones blacklisted because they were stolen, I am yet to receive a ITC number for both blacklisted devices therefore am unable to go to the police station to get a case number because I do not have ITC blacklist reference number. Please can this be resolved as its been 4 months of this and telkom keeps telling me that they will send the reference number but nothing.

Your whole business is a joke, Why cant I get assistance with unlocking my account? Why do you always direct people to your website to get their accounts unlocked and after waiting forever to chat with someone, You get told that you cannot change passwords or log disputes via this platform? Why are you even still in business? First, you got hacked and lost all of our information and when we need assistance you are unable to assist with your systems that DO NOT WORK. Please unlock my account. And I tried to apply for the free 1-year voucher it did not work. Please get this resolved. I booked and paid to watch Doctor Strange 2 at Gateway Hotel for the 6th of May 2022, However, the time of the time was incorrect. I contacted the support line and could not get in contact with anyone to assist and change the time of the movie booking from 12:00 to 20:00. I event sent an email with Reference Number: CAS-271953-Z7B9C5. I just want to change the movie time or possibly change the date as I am working.
I had an Edgars account that was written off and EMC forwarded a confirmation email before they went out of business, NDR now requires a formal letter off letter. But I cannot get in contact with anyone from RCS. I need help with this ASAP. No one has access to my account information and therefore am unable to get my edgars acount righ off letter sent to me
