Left Stranded During September we obtained quotes and Angelic movers came in as affordable. We promptly paid the 50% deposito. Kept checking in with all as we were sceduled to move 13 November 2025 from Limpopo to Eastern cape. Calls was never answered but we received whatsup communications. This done from our side every two weeks. Came the morning of the move ! No show just an whatsup to say their truck fuel hose broke and we will have to get other transporters. Our deposit wil be reimbursed witin seven days. Well seven days is past and we are still stranded and short the money paid for deposit. 1. Was offered no help or assistance 2. Found that company had no physical address Failure to answer phones. 5. Left eldery couple stranded without even have the decentsy to offer help or pay back monies owed. Be carefull out there
I bought a cheap car via auction from the riverhorse branch on the 06 Feb25. 4F9D00492 within minutes their was problems in regards to transport. I was just a victim of an hijacking and now i am getting serios run arround from we buy cars. I did cancel the deal after i asked a friend just to go establish if it sounds mechanically ok. Feedback i got is the the car does not even start. I maintained my cancelation and re afirmed this on the 07 feb 25. Then a whole week went by without hearing from we buy cars. Yesterday 17feb25 i asked the salesperson what is happening. This is the reply i got. Not a word from any manager whatsoever. This is the message copied/pasted Good morning Adriaan I’ve gotten feedback from management. The delay with your refund is the request to cancel the auction was declined by our Head Office, it was then resubmitted by management last Friday as I ask them daily for feedback so you can receive your money, today management confirmed they are still waiting for feedback from Head Office to finalise the cancellation, thereafter will they approve the refund. There’s literally nothing I can do from my end to make the process faster, it’s all up to our Head Office and Management to get this sorted out. But once it is sorted out, I will let you know, so far from my end I’ve updated you based on what I’ve been told by management
Follow up on last weeks review. We buy cars certainly did not contact me. After sending a friend to go test the channa bennie at riverhorse i was shocked to find out that the car cant even start. So i defnitely cancelled my buy. Now to the day 7 days latter i still do not have my refund. Ok sat/sun we can dicount. But 5days. Question why does it take so long. Where is customer care.
Chang of events. 917302 1 i was Hi jacked and then ****** by we buy cars. Being in a state of mind that i cant go to work without a car.. as a normal consumer the side od we buy cars direct me to register to bof R4000 gone . I find a snall car thet can potential get me mobile again. To my horror i was told that i must pay the car in full asap. In my haste i came across a cheapi which i hope can suffiecie. While i am going tjrough the docomets i ask ao my car is going to be delivered in gauteng.my car from kzn to silverlakes at no charge. I understood i must get the car at theire gauteng showroom. Siver lakes branch. However the rep told me i have to pat all the way from wjere it is. Very on proof of adress. Id. Proof of residence and pdf of pay Payment. I have doe all this and now will get nack 15399.99 i have lost my 4000 and some fees. I was hijqcked nearly killed in my overeager manner tried getting a car that i can afford. What a disater. If we buy car consult we clients before any purchases have been made then the cllients be crystal clear. Worsed place to do business. I am activelu looking for a group of people which the similar thing happen because a class action is the only way forward. Stat away..
Automotive parts ordered and paid for with no parts or credit received. On the 12 Sep 2024 i purchases parts from wantitall site and paid for it. A little more than a day passed when i received a mail as to advise that the supplier is out of stock. My payment wont be proccesed. (I found this strange as normally a credit is given) 1. Wantitall received my order and payment yet did not have the parts on hand or access thereto. 2. It is now the 18th Sep 2024 and i have been onto wantitall for my credit as i need to buy said parts elsewhere. To no avail. Have been receiving only empty promises for 4 days. I wish our community to be aware of this bussiness not doing the generally accepted business practise.
I have been a client of Capitec since 2011. During 24 March 2024 i went in personaly to the Mall of the North branch to advise that my income will be affected due to my employer terminating my employment based on medical incapacity. The bank then only gave me one form. "Unable to earn an income" which qas duly completed. Claim number 00315934 All went quiet till i received a mail on the 8th May for further forms to be filled. I stay outside Polokwane my ex employer is in Pretoria. As also my last specialist. I stated on mail my objection to this delay tactics.. According to available such a process takes 3 months. I am far past 3 months now. Today i received 19k from uif, capitec grabed 13k for arears. I cant even pay my rent or buy food.
As a normal diy guy i have just encountered extreme frustration with this site. We all try to save a buck so I looked online for a specific model year bmw x3 right hand drive (Sa) 2006 model year and e83 model number. From a brief picture it looked the same. Only to find that Fruugo sells two different switches for the same model of vehicle.(which i find impposible to believe, if so why was i as client not alerted) With postage and returns being costly i opted to ask after several complaints for a discount to buy the "correct" part.
The bank has finally after 5 days acknowledged that they did receive my retrenchment document at the time when I was retrenched. My question however is clear...the bank has a process of waiting for 3 months before settling claims, which is understandable yet part of the process I was supposed to be asked how much I can afford. This was not done and to add insult to injury the bank continued to pillage me account in excess of 15k surely this is not in the spirit of actually assisting your clients that has been retrenched. Is Capitec in touch with the times ? Working people heavily rely on swift account once something so awfull has happend. The staff dealing with these matters should do their utmost to close these matters off . Nobody even asked me what I can afford for the 3 months administrative waiting period, well R1500 per month I would say. Now the bank has simply taken full premiums from my account at this stage exceeds 15k, further insult is ths some of this funds was paid to me from uif. Kindly set the record straight. You have taken so long due to staff incompetence and should refund me monies taken more than agreed premium. Yes you can do it as I still believe in capitec
I am a pro Capitec customer, but the latteset incident is just not on. I took a personal loan from Capitec and the assurance that goes along. Several years later im retrenched and now after I filled out all forms handed in all required documents, the bank takes of a full premium monthly of my personal account. My money is draind and im on the unemployment line yet the bank has taken more than 12k from my account after I became unemployed, they even take money that is paid into my account from the department of labour I.e. uif money. Trying to talk to them just seems fruitless. Question . Where is the bank that I was so happy to deal with as currently im getting no joy from anybody. I am still waiting for official feedback from mfc after my complaint 14/04/15 . It seems that mfc cannot commit to giving correct and acurate answers. Shame on you.
