I bought a Cloud Nine bed in the Hirsch's Ballito store on the 23rd November 2024 and the base broke 5 months later after I bought it. I have gone to the Hirsch's Ballito store to report this and asked them to log a service call last week and I was told that someone will be in touch so that they can come and check it out and nothing has happened to date. I also logged a call online on the website and no response. The lack of response and customer service is absolutely unacceptable because my warranty is still valid.
I applied for fibre service and they sent someone to come and install. The installer used somebody else's line and my connection was cut within 2 hours of becoming active. I contacted cool ideas to alert them and they used their favourite phrase "We are investigating" for a whole 3 weeks. Cool Ideas still could not find fault with my line after all their "investigation". Eventually someone came and fixed it and now they are demanding I pay for a service they did not offer to me and telling me that my refund may take 6 weeks. I want my account credited and not be demanded to pay for a service I did not use or they must cancel their contact and give me money back.
Someone sent me a parcel from the UK in December and I received notification from Nikki Hattingh that it arrived here in South Africa on the 04/01/19. I responded to the email and requested for the customs invoice. She sent me the invoice on the 07/01/19 and I made payment on 10/01/19. I never received any communication after that until I called Nikki on 09/01/19 to ask to come for collection because clearly I was never going to get the delivery. She advised that the parcel had not been cleared as yet and she would arrange for the clearance and delivery by 4pm same day so I can come then to which I responded no because it would be pick time. She said I can come the next day which would be a Saturday and Melany would assist get the parcel. I went on Saturday morning and asked for Melany, she came and claimed to be assisting me, she also told me to go as was following up with customs and sort this out and she would call me same day to confirm when I can collect. She DID NOT call, email or make any communication. I still haven’t received my parcel which I need otherwise I wouldn’t have arranged for it to be sent to me. How can not 1 person but 3 people be so incompetent from 1 company???
