Auto&General is a "telephone only" insurer ... which means they do nothing unless by a phone call. Having my burst geyser replaced has require umpteens of phone calls, where I have to pass messages from one service provider (plumber, carpenter, geyser supplier, etc.) to A&G and back. They do not take care of the geyser replacement from start-to-finish, and will leave the process hanging half-way through, waiting for me to ... MAKE A PHONE CALL. I estimate that the total process of getting the geyser replaced is going to require approximately 15 phone calls, all of which are instances where I am doing project management on behalf of the insurer. And when you phone after hours to complain, they simply say, "We will call you back in the morning." In simple terms: A phone call does not solve everything, and managing the geyser replacement from start to finish is the INSURER'S responsibility. A&G doesn't know this.

I bought an almost-new Honda Civic in November 2016 from Honda Helderberg. Almost immediately after getting the car, I noticed a few rattles in the dashboard. The problem was reported immediately and the car went back to Honda for 2 visits before end of 2016, and has since done 4 more visits.

However, after a total of SIX VISITS, with a total duration of more than 3 weeks, the dashboard still rattles. The service manager has apparently exhausted all technical solutions, but I still hear rattles every day, on my short 20min commute to work. The service manager also drives a Civic, and his rattles even more than mine! (I borrowed it for a day while they worked on mine).

The new Civic dashboard is apparently being built using a very cheap design, and is definitely not up to standard with VW, Audi or BMW -- even though Honda charges a significant "premium price" for the car.

I believe/hope this design error will be fixed in future model updates ... while I have years of daily dashboard rattles to look forward to.

Please don't consider this car until they have fixed it at the factory.
