<p>I bought an almost-new Honda Civic in November 2016 from Honda Helderberg. Almost immediately after getting the car, I noticed a few rattles in the dashboard. The problem was reported immediately and the car went back to Honda for 2 visits before end of 2016, and has since done 4 more visits. <br /> <br />However, after a total of SIX VISITS, with a total duration of more than 3 weeks, the dashboard still rattles. The service manager has apparently exhausted all technical solutions, but I still hear rattles every day, on my short 20min commute to work. The service manager also drives a Civic, and his rattles even more than mine! (I borrowed it for a day while they worked on mine).<br /> <br />The new Civic dashboard is apparently being built using a very cheap design, and is definitely not up to standard with VW, Audi or BMW -- even though Honda charges a significant "premium price" for the car.<br /> <br />I believe/hope this design error will be fixed in future model updates ... while I have years of daily dashboard rattles to look forward to.<br /> <br />Please don't consider this car until they have fixed it at the factory.<br /> <br /> </p>

Honda Helderberg did an 81 point check on my Honda Brio, and after the check, the report stated that the suspension was checked, through the bounce test.<br> <br> However, the suspension was actually completely bent , as was the shock absorber, meaning that they could never have tested the front suspension of the vehicle., as they claimed.<br> <br> This test cost over a thousand rand.<br> <br> After contacting them about this, they have been extremely unhelpful and no solution has been found.

I am absolutely horrified at the fact that I took my car in for a service, it has done 24 000KM and the sales man and tyre man informed me that my tyres were 'flaky' and 'very dangerous to drive with'. They offered me a supposidly good deal on 4 new tyres. I am not as dumb as they thought. I may be as a 20 year old blonde girl but I do know that tyres usually last around 40 000 KM. I then took my car in for a second opinion at a great tyre and exhaust shop in Paarl where the manager told me that whoever was trying to sell me new tyres was trying to rip me off and that my tyres have atleast 15 000KM on them. Also the call center calls so soon after the service to do their quality survey that you do not have time to even assess your service before they start with all of their questions.<br> I am disgusted that because I am young these people think that they can take advantage of me. Are the sales people at Honda a bunch of scam artists or looking out for the customers best interests. Honda is supposed to be a great value for money car brand but I have now realised that they will try make money off you wherever they can especially if you look like you dont know whats going on.

Honda Helderberg, seemed a very professional car dealership. I had a Kia Cerato 1.6 2011 that I needed traded in or resold and the salesperson promised that he would take care of everything.<br> <br> My existing car would be settled , I would receive a cash back etc. 2 weeks after I left my old car at the dealership, I receive a call from a sales assistant to ask what my Kia is doing at the dealership.<br> <br> The salesperson is suspended and the dealer is threatening to tow the car away and treating me like a criminal. I was shocked with what I had heard and the way I have been treated.<br> <br> The sales manager says to me I own 2 cars, little do they know I understand my rights. I have escalated to NCR, National Consumer Tribunal, Consumer Protector and consulted 2 Lawyers who deal with consumer arbitration.<br> <br> Used Car Sales people are the worst, I am still fighting this case because injustice will not prevail here. Imagine the Dealerships says they have a sworn affidavit from the criminal sales person, well I will go on better and let him get a Polygraph.<br> <br> Be careful as Liars and Cheats are everywhere.

Die vriendelike diens en professionele manier waarop ek behandel is by Honda Helderberg sal moeilik ewenaar kan word. Van Juandre tot Emma wat die finansies doen, was almal net uitmuntend. My karretjie was toegegooi met 'n pragtige rooi kleed..... 'n rooi tapyt voor die deur...'n spesiale neut en biltong geskenkie... heerlike koffie.....hulp met die verkryging van 'n lening......oproepe...sms'e...e-posse alles op sy tyd. Baie dankie Honda Helderberg personeel en in die besonder Juandre Haasbroek. Die karretjie was gelukkig op julle vloer en sy gaan net so gelukkig wees by my. Janie Brink
