In the beginning of November I ordered a fan. They sent it in an old cardboard box with no instructions. I returned it. Ordered a new fan. I put it together today. Guess what?! DOES NOT WORK. Why do they get to trick a customer this way? Just because I'm not a big spender they can treat me this way. I am losing trust in Makro.
I am tired of the terrible online shopping experience with Marko. First they send me a fan with no instructions and in an old cardboard box. They refund me of course but then they cancel another order of mine, a smaller fan, 12 days after I ordered it. Claim it's out of stock but it's still available online. I checked. I mean, cancelling 12 days after the order was placed. I was patient. I understood there was a long delivery time. I'm a loyal customer and all Marko does is cancel my order without even bothering to talk to me. No explanation. This isn't the first time I've experienced bad service but this time was the worst.
I recently ordered from them, my first time, and they were lovely. Great service, great communication, great products. Thank you very much
I recently (July 2025) took up a new contract with Vodacom for a new tablet. I tried to get insurance last week but was rejected as the tablet is now too old. Fair enough, I waited too long. Apparently 3 months is old. However, I am now struggling to find out what my warranty covers and for how long. I spent a whole morning on the phone trying to find out from Vodacom and they could not provide the information. They said I must contact the manufacturer or go to a Vodacom store. There is no Vodacom store close to me. I explained this. I dutifully emailed Mobicell who informed me I must ask Vodacom as warranties differ. I've tried emailing various departments at Vodacom with no response. Is it not my legal right to know what my warranty covers. Should the information not be readily available?
I just discovered that ABSA has been taking R50 from my account each month for a bank statement sent via post when I have never ever received a bank statement by post. I don't even have a postal address. The only reason I have discovered this ***** is because they have stopped hiding the fee as a bank fee and now it is listed as a bank statement fee. Where is this bank statement? I've never received one. Who has been getting my statements. I know I would never have asked for a paper statement. Who does these days. Thank you for *****ing from me ABSA.
