I logged a cancellation on 30th January with MTN Brooklyn. I returned router on the same day. This was a month to month package and I cancelled within the month I already paid for. They tried to debit me every month since I cancelled. Now this has affected my credit score. I went to the shop to enquire and they say my account is with legal and that I need to pay for 1 more month. I told them that will never happen as I cancelled on time and returned their device on time. If the store didn't capture the cancellation on time,that is NOT my problem. Just to reiterate,I will NEVER pay for a service I did not use.
MTN has allowed an unauthorised sim-swap on my line that culminated in R4100 being *****ulently spent on my bank account. we reported the matter and the number was reinstated. Today the same MTN allows another unknown person to do the sim swap AGAIN on the number in question. WHo is going to take accountability for these *****ulent transactions????
I dont know where to start. 1stly their claim process is horrendous, with agents who dont know what they are doing. no feedback etc. 2ndly it takes A FULL week after reporting for their "investigation" to settle. then another 5 to 7 WORKING days to pay out. And they will always give you the lowest quote for replacement. I strongly discourage anyone from insuring with pine apple. I was drawn in by the" ease" of signing up and insuring various items, but you are better off putting money away for when you need to replace an item, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
A total scam. i paid for a device (P30lite) on their website for R2999 , then they went awol on me. the amount was debited from my account on the 17th May 2020, till today 20 May 2020, it still says processingon their website. they wont answer their calls, nor reply their emails as well. website : https://discphone.co.za/
i have made an order and fully paid on the 11th February. Till today (16th February) there have been ducking and dodging me, making endless promises, Now they ahve decided to switch off their phones. I am in talks with my legal rep to sue them.<br> <br> his number : 0825688107

I hace applied for insurance with this people, and they havent debited the account,nor called me as promised about the tracking device im supposed to fit, which affects my cover. im probably driving without any cover right now. i also needed a list of places to take my car for inspection.
