My wife booked a ticket for myself and my son (codeshare flight). There was an error with one letter of my son’s name and she called them to ask them to change it. They firstly charged her 500AED to change one letter. Later they informed her they can’t do it and that it’s a non refundable ticket. Both SAA and Emirates were willing to assist up until they saw the ticket was booked through a travel agency. BudgetAir just refuses to assist to make one single change. This is just them wanting to make more money. We have to buy a new ticket because they don’t want to assist. Be careful of these travel agencies.
Last month (September),I requested a settlement amount for my contract. The settlement amount was sent, with the banking details etc. I paid in full, I sent my PoP to cancellations department as requested on the form and never heard back from them. Three weeks later I emailed again to ask if things are in order and still no response. I called customer care, they said I need to pay for October then everything will be settled. Today I called again, and now apparently they don’t pick up the amount that was paid in, but they can tell me exactly how much I paid in after verifying my details. Somewhere someone didn’t do their job properly now I have to continue to pay a contract which I have settled and no one can assist me and no one responds to emails. What is going on!
On 29 June a lady contacted me about a specific contract. She also said that if I do take it on that specific day I would get the phone 2 July. After taking out the contract a day later I get an SMS saying the phone is out of stock. Firstly, a phone was sold to me that is out of stock. Secondly, I've been sending numerous emails to them without any responding. I have called and waited for more than 30 minutes just for no one to pick up. I am extremely disappointed in the service and regret taking the contract with them. To this day I haven't received any phone, not even an SMS updating me when I'll receive a phone. Please think twice before accepting anything from them. Clearly there is no communication. The only communication you'll get is once you have taken out a contract from them. Poor service.
