My bank account was debited with more than R2400 OVER the Apr invoice amount sent to me via sms. After 3 excruciating calls (their operators are not capable at all) totalling 48 minutes of my time (not mentioning the actual call charges -- no, it's not free!) and absolute NO response from MTN, I had to go in to the HO in Bloemfontein. The assistant there eventually assured me that it was an error from their side and I would be credited within a week. When there was no response again from them in a week's time, I called & was informed that it was actually my error (data charges -- I have proof of buying extra data every month since this is a top-up account) and no refund would be made. I then insisted on speaking to the manager (Peggy Serwalo) who also assured me that she studied my account and could not find any proof that I "opened" my data cap, so she would personally see to it that I would get my refund. Had to follow up 3 times before she sent me a rather snotty whatsapp message (really professional!)informing me that "actually, in fact there was no proof whatsoever" that it was MTN's error and no refund would be made. Still awaiting answers on most of my queries for proof (my first query was on 04 May 2016) as well as the invoice that is just not available. Long story short: I think MTN is overcharging its customers to help pay for the massive Nigerian fine and making it an absolute nightmare to solve any query. Be very careful of this company!

Wanted to post another lamentation of the poor to non-existing service of this ridiculous company, but actually just decided to cancel my subscription. Had enough. Best of luck to the remaining customers hoping for better service from Cartrack. It's not going to happen.

The only department working in Cartrack is the one with the greedy little hands that take your money every month without fail. My tracking device has been \non-responsive"(broken) since 16 May"
Have been a client of Cartrack for many years, with monthly debit orders. For some reason the debit orders stopped end of 2014 and in Jan 2015 I got a call from a Cartrack credit controller, Mr Booysen, informing me that the account is in arrears. Can't explain to me WHY the debit order was discontinued (actually sounded like he didn't even know there was an arrangement for debit orders) and gets extremely agitated with ME (the client) when I insist that he finds out and preferable email me a response, because I refuse to speak to him again. Please note Cartrack PR: Mr Booysen needs to go for basic business etiquette classes if he's going to continue working with your clients, although a certain Miss Govender (Debtors Manager) stepped in and explained that he's \actually such a nice guy". So the debit orders were reinstated"
**Already reported this lady&company to safarinow where I made the booking&deposit in March for Dec! All other payments were made directly to Wendy. Had to pay the full amount 2 weeks prior to arrival for a ground floor, 3-bedroom flat directly across from the beach in Margate/Lawrence Rocks. Two days before our arrival we got a frantic email from Wendy explaining that there was a serious break-in at that specific unit&she just had to move us to another unit, because our original unit was \stripped bare". Upon arrival we were moved to a completely different complex in Uvongo"
