Active since Mar 2015
I visited Badgers Grill at Springbok Inn for Sunday lunch on 29 June 2025 with my family and ordered the Eisbein with creamy mash. They were out of mash, and I gladly accepted savoury rice as a substitute. The issue arose when I began cutting into the Eisbein. The exterior was extremely tough, and the interior was visibly raw. I raised the concern with the waiter, who took the meal back to the kitchen. However, I decided it was unsafe and requested a different meal (steak), which I paid for - not a problem in itself. I then asked the supervisor for a written acknowledgment that I had been served raw pork, which poses a serious health risk. She responded with unnecessary attitude and told me the manager would contact me on Monday, 30 June 2025. Unsurprisingly, I never received any communication from the manager. Serving raw pork is a serious food safety violation, and the restaurant's poor handling of the situation raises concerns about both their kitchen standards and customer care. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE. Based on my experience, I believe this restaurant requires urgent inspection by health authorities.
<div>*** me into joining for a service they didn't render. Claims that I cancelled the service too late. This after one of my debtors debited my entire salary. The same debtor they then couldn't get to agree to the debt review process. Ended up under debt review for only one account. Anyway, I have started with legal action. Still waiting for promised email with call recordings. They'll probably find some way to remove this review. Truly the worst company when it comes to customer service. If this review gets removed, it would confirm that they are somehow in cahoots with hello Peter as my query has not been resolved. I'm still waiting for above-mentioned email. </div>
So, National Debt Advisors are adamant that I have to pay the fee of R2000 even after they did not deliver on the service that was initially promised. Please explain to me how they can promise to consolidate two accounts into debt review, but then only include the one account? WHY WOULD I THEN HAVE AGREED TO IT? MAKES NO SENSE!!! ON THE CONTRACT THAT I SIGNED IT INCLUDED BOTH ACCOUNTS!!! I'm yet to receive any call recordings or notes of prior calls I have made to the company. All of this after I did not call this company and I still want to know how the **** they got my number?
I WOULD ADVISE ANY AND EVERYONE AGAINST DEALING WITH THIS ****HOUSE OF A COMPANY. I was contacted by a consultant representing National Debt Advisors by the name of Ashaania on September 13th, 2018. They basically offered me debt consolidation without additional interest and all that jazz. So, I would pay one amount to them and they would then allocate these payments to my creditors. At the end of that very same month my entire salary was debited by one of my creditors. Upon contacting said creditor, I was advised that they were well within their rights as I applied for debt review. Note that I was not told that this would happen in any of my dealings with National Debt Advisors. When I contacted National Debt Advisors they basically told me that there is nothing that they could do for me. So, here I am with zero cents in my pocket not knowing how I am going to survive the month ahead. Logical thing to do was to cancel this debt review application and that's what I did verbally when speaking to the consultant. Months go by and I don't receive any emails or call from this company. I then pay off my debt directly to the creditors only to find out I need to get a clearance certificate from National Debt Advisors as I am still under debt review. They then quote me an amount North of R2000 as an "aftercare" fee before they can issue the clearance certificate. THE AUDACITY RIGHT? Imagine me calling someone, not providing a service at all, leaving that person worse off than what they were and then expecting that person to pay me for services not rendered. THE ****IN' AUDACITY!!!! So, I have been waiting four days for a reply on an email I sent requesting all call recordings and any signed documents as I wish to take this to the Ombudsman. When I called a short while ago I was told that the issue was escalated to their compliance department. This only after I had to call.
