My experience with Grant Ackers at Miway Insurance was pleasant. He was friendly, respectful and very efficient.
I dealt with Tshwarelo in the claims department. I submit a cellphone claim yesterday and within 24 hours my claim was registered, approved and settled. The process was seamless and Tshwarelo was nothing less than amazing.
I dealt with Delton Jacobs and he was clued up on all products, knew exactly what I need and how to assist me. Friendly and efficient.
My homeloan is with Standard Bank. I had a situation on Monday where my geyser was problematic. I called standard bank insurance, cannot remember who i spoke to unfortunately and the consultant advised me that they can only send someone out to my house on Wednesday. I could not wait till then, so i got an electrician to come out via Swiftcare home assist. I paid the electrician R2100.00 to replace the thermostat and the pipe in my ceiling as it was broken and was about to burst. This morning I called standard bank in order to submit the claim to them for reimbursement and they informed me that they do not do reimbursements as I was suppose to make use of their services. Now I am a mother of two kids age 4 and 6 months, was I suppose to go without water for 2 days waiting for standard bank? I find this appauling and totally unacceptable. Every month i pay my buildings cover insurance, and this is the service I get, I mean really. I'm APPAULED... Totally APPAULED.
We installed a gate motor a few months ago. At time of installation the service was phenomenal until we experienced some problems. I would phone the supplier and well it would take a couple of calls and sms's before he would come out, then he would come two or three days later. The first time he came out for a problem he didnt even attend to me directly, one of his guy who works for him attended to me cos he was on the phone the whole time. Then we had another problem, my husband eventually called him who was in cape town at the time and then only he came out. bear in mind he charged us for coming out. The saturday after he came out we experienced another problem, I then called him that morning and he gave me such lip, his attitude was pathetic, I was so livid and disgusted by it. I will NEVER EVER refer him to anyone as his attitude stinks and his service sucks.
