Ek wil net 'n aanprysing gee vir Pieter van "The Lock Shop" in Centurion. Ek het 'n wesenlike probleem met vervoer ervaar omdat my voertuigsleutel volgens my kennis, foutief was. Ek het vir Pieter ges***el en hy het 'n huisbesoek gaan doen om die sleutel te vervang. Met sy aankoms by my huis, het hy uit sy eie diagnostiese toetse gedoen en vir my laat weet dat die sleutel nie foutief is nie, maar dat daar 'n ander elektriese fout met die voertuig is, en dat ek kundige mense moet ****ak om dit te herstel. Ek het hom gevra wat sy koste is, waarop sy reaksie was dat hy dit as 'n menliewendheidsdaad gedoen het. Wat 'n voorbeeld in vandag se tye!
My wife and myself had our 20th anniversary dinner at the Pepper Chair in Lyttleton. What a wonderful experience. They decorated the table in a cozy, romantic corner and even gave us a bottle of champagne on the house, Their service, gourmet food and excellent atmosphere is out of this world. i will most certainly do all anniversaries and functions at this world class restaurant. Five Star!!!!!
1. I am very disappointed in the manner which my claim was rejected by my Insurer. 2. I am insured by “SANTAM” via the Broker “Integrisure”. I am a client of this company for the past eight years and, according to myself, have an excellent track record. I am not the kind of person who claim for small incidents or damages. 3. On Saturday 22 May 2021 I was making a fire in the fire pit (Braaier) at my house. The fire pit is situated inside the lapa, which was covered by a thatch roof. There is a brick and cement chimney from the fire pit which is extended through the roof of the lapa. 4. My wife and myself was sitting inside the lapa while the fire was burning. At a certain stage she went inside the house and I followed her and went to the bathroom. 5. While we were inside the house, the flames went through a crack in the chimney and the grass started smouldering. (See Picture 1 & 2). 6. I ran outside and put out the fire in the fire pit with the extinguishers on site. The smouldering was going through the middle of the grass roof, but there were no flames visible. 7. A few of my neighbours came over and started to dismantle the roof in order to prevent futher damage. While we were busy with this action, the fire brigade arrived and put out the smouldering grass, which you will understand led to the complete roof in a mess, and some of the furniture inside the lapa damaged. 8. I immediately reported the incident to my Broker, who, in cooperation with the Insurer, SANTAM, rejected my claim. See Attached communication. 9. I fully understand their reason for rejecting the claim due to the reasons as listed and I understand the fact that if the building burnt to ashes, their decision was correct. 10. The reasons for my disagreement with their decision is as follow: a. There were no physical fire or flames on the thatch roof. The grass and the wooden structure was only smouldering, which led to the damage on the building. The only open flames were in the fire pit itself, which I put out with the two extinguishers in the lapa.The most damage took place while dismantling the grass and when the fire brigade used their fire hoses. At no stage did the grass or the wooden structure caught fire. In my modest opinion, the complete building would have burnt down if the grass was not treated as prescribed. b. The expert which was appointed by the insurer to assess the damage, confirmed to us that the grass was treated before and the damage would have been much bigger if this was not the case. He was the person who pointed out to us the cracks in the chimney as the reason for the grass to start smouldering. This cracks was not at all visible while the grass was still in tact. c. About two years ago I had a person on site to fill up the damages caused by the birds and to comb the grass. At that stage he was of the opinion that it is not necessary to retreat the grass as the current treatment was sufficient. 11. I want to accentuate the fact that the biggest damage was caused by removing the grass and the effort from the fire brigade. 12. I really do not want to enrich myself with money from the insurer. In fact, I am not even going to replace the thatch roof with the same grass topping. I just want to repair the damage which was totally out of my control and which I paid insurance for for eight years.
I ordered the following product on the 16th of July 2020 from the abovementioned company: Multifunctional Electric Sharpener with Diamond Grinding Wheels. I saw the advert on Facebook. On the 23rd of October 2020 I received my order. When I opened the package. there were only two grinding wheels inside. no sharpener. I will never again support this company.

After the final payment was done, the sales lady told me they will come and hand over the pool, list all the deffects and repair it to my satisfaction. We made a date and she did not even bother to pitch or call for a new appointment. The excistence of this company is a joke and I am most certainly not leaving the matter here. I am in consultation with people to direct me to authotities who can assist me in solving my querries and make sure no-one else will ever receive such bad treatment</p>
I have bought an item from the company on Saturday. The item was out of stock. Courtney said he will order the item from another branch and contact me on Monday for collection arrangements. Today is Tuesday. No response. I called the branch about twenty times since 0900 this morning. No answer. I called the customer careline who indicated that they will contact the branch to get response. No feedback. This was the last purchase done by myself or anyone of my extended family at this company. Worst service in my life and I will tell anybody who wants to listen of my bad experience with this company.
