My Kawasaki H2 was taken for a early 5000kms service on 10 June 2022 to Bikers Warehouse in Randburg. The H2 had 4539kms and is a 2019 model. H2 went for an oil and oil filter change and was collected on the 17June 2022 and on 18 June 2022 the engine blew. I called bikers Warehouse on the20/06/2022 to Fetch H2 and give me a report. Shaun from Bikers Warehouse Informed me that there is a hole in the block apparently it is a Factory fault from Kawasaki Factory. Shaun contacted KMSA and Gavin the technical adviser informed Shaun to strip the ECU so they could see if there were any modifications done. Gavin from KMSA informed Shaun from Bikers Warehouse to strip H2 and submit a parts list as they would honour the repairs to the H2 that was late June 2022 Thereafter i receive an e-mail a month later stating that KMSA is not honouring the claim. I feel it is not fair to agree to repair and after a month to decline the repairs. I was informed by Bikers Warehouse that i am liable for the cost to strip H2. where is the logic asi did not give instructions to strip H2. I collected a stripped bike which is now not mobile and still paying my monthly installments. All the above information was informed to me by Shaun and Kerry from Bikers Warehouse. Bikers Warehouse clearly states on the e-mail that the H2 is a factory defect. I can attach e-mails from Bikers Warehouse and service book which is stamped. KMSA is not reputable
Good Day,

Standard Bank insurance was informed on Monday around 15H55 that there was theft at 131 Sangiro Ave Elandspark which was reported to the SAPS.The assessor [Hennie] from standard bank came out to-day Wednesday to have a look at the plumbing pipes and pressure valve that is missing due to the theft and tried calling the offices which gave him no response. I spoke to Rachael from the call center at 13H52 to find out what time the plumber is arriving she said we allocated a plumber yesterday but he was unable to come out so she tried another plumber from Benoni but he said she need to find another plumber, then spoke to her supervisor [Zandele] who then said i will try to get someone to-day which i am still waiting. They are passing the buck to the plumbers which i gather that they messed up not allocating the plumber closer to Elandspark. My greatest concern is that due to the theft of the pressure valve water is unable to flow and HERE Standard Bank Insurance takes From Monday 15H55 TILL Wednesday a nothing is done, incompetent and outrageous poor client service.Standard Bank Insurance need to get competent and reliable informative staff so the client is kept up to date .
