I made a reservation with Sea Star Lodge in Gansbaai on 3 June via Booking.com. Terms stated free cancelation before 16 June. I paid 50% deposit when I booked. I canceled the reservation on 9 June. It is now 3 September and I still have not received my refund. The establishment tells me Booking.com must refund me, and Booking.com tell me the establishment must refund me. Unacceptable from both sides.

I read some of the other reviews about JHR on here and I was nervous. But I had no issues at all. Goods were collected timeously, transported so that nothing was broken at all (including an old glass cabinet, crockery, trinkets, etc), arrived in good time, was held until I could collect and when I did, the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience. Thanks JH Retief for the awesome service.
I have to compliment Dotsure on their service and, especially turnaround time. Their staff are friendly, helpful and empathetic and you get your claims processed and money back within 2 days. I frequently deal with Sasha Barnard or Chante Du Plooy, and they are both excellent at their jobs and should be commended. Good service is heard to come by these days, and Dotsure excel at it. Long may it continue.
<p>I went into Makro Ottery on 27 November to purchase a tablet - I had checked online and they said that there was stock available in store. Needless to say, when I got there, nothing. They advised me to order online, which I duly did the same day. The online store also indicated that they had stock and delivery would be effected in 2 to 5 working days. I have yet to receive my order. I have heard nothing from Makro by way of explanation. I had to phone them to find out what was going on and can't say I have much faith I will receive my order by Christmas, which is disappointing, as it is a present.</p> <p>Simply Not Good Enough.</p>

I needed to go into SARS this past week to register and verify my documents for eFiling. The young lady at counter 19 who assisted me went above and beyond to help me as it initially seemed I did not have all the correct documentation (apparently you cant use a bank statement as proof of address AND proof of bank details). She patiently went through it with me and helped me find a suitable proof of address amongst my many emails, updating my personal details and making sure I left sorted out and satisfied.<br> <br> And the whole process only took an hour! <br> <br> Brilliant service
I booked two return flights CT to Jhb on Safair on 24 June. <br> On 2 July I attempted to cancel the one return flight (i.e. 1 of the 4). Their website says clearly they do not do refunds unless it is within 7 days. They do not specify calendar days or working days. Calendar days would have made 2 July day 8 (1 day over), working days would have made 2 July day 6 (within their \policy"). <br> They are refusing to process the refund saying it is 7 calendar days and we were one day late requesting the refund"
After I placed my order I emailed Makro twice requesting that the order be delivered on Monday 1 June specifically. I received no answer to these emails. I followed this up with a tel call & was assured this would be done. 1 June came & went without any delivery. <br> On 2 June I was informed that there was some confusion regarding the date & it would be delivered after 4pm on Tuesday 2 June. No delivery arrived. <br> Wednesday 3 June, I got a call at 09:47 from Time Freight to confirm the address & say the order would be delivered after 11am. Nothing arrived. <br> That is 2 days off work, because I am not a housewife, I work for a living. <br> On calling the courier company that afternoon at 15:58 I was told someone would check the floor waybills and call me back. Nobody has yet called me back. <br> I called the Makro to find out what was going on was told there had been confusion with the address and therefore my order was not delivered but would be delivered on Thursday. <br> At this point I told her, unacceptable, I want a refund. I emailed a complaint to Makro. Nothing. No response, no refund processed, and when it does get processed I have to wait 5-7 days for my money?!<br> Seriously?!
