The experience of a minor claim I.e. Tyre claim. It turned out to be such a nightmare, I was moved from pillar to post. The process was unnecessarily long due, restricted to the chat alone. Miway Blink isn’t available to reach telephonically for escalations. Sent an email to expressed concerns on how my claim was being dealt with and why, to which I received no response. It was truly frustrating at some point it didn’t feel like I was dealing with a reputable company but felt like a ****. Eventually I got through to Nomhle Mabe on the chat, whom I expressed my great dissatisfaction to and how I wondered how the experience for a comprehensive claim would be like if this is my experience over a minor claim, she stayed on the chat until I was satisfied with the outcome and answered all my questions definitively without hesitation like they had been in the past.
On Friday the 26/06/2015 I was at Game in Menlyn buying a microwave and kettle as the store close I headed to the registers to pay where my card declined because of their speedpoint machine so I withdrew money from an Absa atm inside Game. The total cost of the items were R1044 so I paid in R1100 and of course I expected change the cashier said she did not have change in her till and asked if I didn't have R44 and I told her I have R30 and a solid R50 she then said I should give the R50 and she will get me change from the office at this stage three of her colleagues are standing by the register as well. Before the lady left to get my change the one lady said something to her colleagues about why don't I just tip with it because I guess they were eager to home and when the cashier left to get my change they were still standing there and the others continued talking amongst themselves that I held up everything over R6 and they went on and on. I was not pleased at all because I am not obliged to do anything or leave my money behind because they felt like they wanted to leave,it portrayed a lack of great customer service and no respect none whatsoever for client. It is unacceptable!
