I took my car for a flying wheel replacement on Monday,26 August 2024,after the part had been ordered couple of months ago.During the process of repairs I was told that there are missing bolts and the car will be ready on Wednesday by noon. I called the service advisor in the morning and I was told that they are still working on the car with the anticipation that the car will be completed by end of business.Upon making several attempt to reach the service advisor with no avail,I finally managed to reach the customer service consultant and I was told that the technician is still working on the vehicle and it will be probably be fixed by Friday. The service I have received is pathetic especially with the money to be paid for the repairs. I have to constantly probe for feedback and inaccurate/untruthful feedback is provided.
I had an accident on the 24 February 2023,whereby I was bumped from the rear resulting in serious damages to my car which took the insurer over six months to fix the car. Just to add a cherry on top, I paid excess amount, which is supposed to be recovered from the driver that bumped me. To date I haven't recovered the excess amount, and on three different occasion for a period of five months, I am told that the sheriffs are still trying to locate the individual that bumped me so that they can serve him with summons. This is so disappointing and I do not even think this case is prioritized or even attended to.
I have been insured with Outsurance for over three years and I have never claimed even once and now,for the past week the geyser have not been heating water and I called outsurance and someone was sent to to do fault finding,it was done quickly and for that I can give them credit, however after the fault finding it was discovered that the fault is not the geyser but the circuit breaker,I was then informed that Outsurance doesn't cover for the parts replacement but only covers for labour, this wasn't not explained to me when I insured my property with Outsurance and I expect outsurance to cover me to repair the circuit breaker
I joined Budget Insurance when I purchased my VW Golf 7,and I was informed telephonically that my access will be 2500, when I claimed, however on 19 June 2015, I had an unfortunate incident whereby my car bumped a cement pave and damaged the oil samp and when I called to lodge a claim, I was informed that my access will be R8130 as I have only two months insured with Budget. The dealership gave me a quote and the cost of the damage was R3300.I then cancelled the claim and incurred the cost of the repairs. I Would appreciate if I can be reimbursed the difference of access agreed upon when I joined the insurance.
