<p>Unacceptable that a transmitter replacement takes almost 72 hours in the Roodekrans area.<br />When last was the power station serviced? These power outages happens far too often.<br />No resolution or compensation given for replacement of perishable goods and frozen foods that has to be discarded due to the lack of service delivery. Alternative accommodation also needs to be compensated.<br />I await your urgent feedback.</p>
<p>I was in a vehicle accident due to the other party skipping the robot and subsequently wrote my vehicle off.</p> <p>Discovery Insure was great at the time the accident took place and arranged the claim number and towing service.</p> <p>The service went downhill after that, I had to contact Discovery Insure to ask how to proceed with the claim as to date I have always spoken to various people in the call centre due to the claims agents assigned to my case is never available. Actually, I have not spoken to Tshepo since the accident took place.</p> <p>I again had to phone Discovery a day after sending the documentation to confirm the documentation was received due to no reponse.</p> <p>The agent I got through to after leaving 2 messages for my assigned claims agent with again no reponse was fantastic. She managed to track down my vehicle and request for an assessment to be done.</p> <p>Wow! Finally, a day after the assessment I get a mail from my claims agent to say he received the assessment report and he is busy with final validations.</p> <p>I follow up again a day later speaking to another agent that informs me the value that Discovery Insure will pay out for my claim. I'm totally disgusted that the value is less that what the vehicle is insured for. Basically, my money every month is good enough for the insured value as it can only be valued every 12 months. funny thing is, the value on your vehicle changes every month, essentially Discovery Insure is then taking my money at a greater value each month. Am I and all other insurers being taken advantage of? </p> <p> </p>
