I had Japie Fourie from Clearwater Pools come out to renovate my existing fibre shell pool. From the get go, things went horribly wrong. It was blatantly clear that Japie and his team were woefully ***********. They struggled to reline the shell, couldn't manage groundwater incursion into the pit, took weeks to complete even basic challenges, had the pool shell in and back out of the pit 3 times because they didn't have the skill to align it correctly and when they finally did get the shell in, they failed to compact the sand around the pavers correctly. Now 6 months later, all of my pavers have cracked and fallen apart. The pool is a mess and I have to tear everything up and have it redone, costing me tens of thousands. As a cherry on top, Japie crashed into my gate with his bakkie. He did try and repair it but I had to insist that he complete that job properly as well, which took him 3 visits as well. Stay away from this contractor and his company, they are incredibly ***********.
My 320i broke down next to the highway on my way to work in Somerset West, the tensioner pulley and belt were destroyed. Had the car towed to BMW helderview. Once there I was told that the parts were not available in the province and it would take 5days to get parts. Not believing them, I phoned BMW SMG who told me that the parts were available and would be no problem to get to Helderview within a few hours.
The woman from Helderview whom I had to deal with was sarcastic and unprofessional.
I then got a call the next day from the same woman, Alice, saying that the repairs were complete but the technicians noticed there was smoke coming from my exhaust and so they strongly advised I have an additional diagnostic done for R800. I agreed and they came back to me saying that my valve stem seals needed replacing for R10'000. I refused the seals replacement.
R4k later I collect the car. Once home I popped the hood to discover there was coolant from the radiator spraying all over due to a damaged radiator hose, the hose was damaged during the breakdown when the belt came off and flung around. There was also a piece of the shredded belt still stuck in the engine. How do you miss that?!?!?
