So I went to the kiosk at Pick n Pay Tembisa Megamart to buy some spice and electricity. When I get to the front after waiting in the line while he and his supervisor Sharon,I assume, I approach the cashier(who didn't have a name tag) and he scans the item and I then asked to purchase electricity. He the says that they don't allow purchases without the presentation of a card that has the meter number as proof. I questioned why that is the case only to be pompously told " It is the rules" in vernac. I then questioned if this is the general rule across all Pick n Pays because when I go to a Pick n pay in Centurion, Lyttleton and Irene or any other Pick n Pay for that matter I am not asked for any proof because I have memorised it and the system does confirm the initials and surnames of the municipal account holders(my parents). Mind you , it is not the first time I am buying electricity from this exact same store. Every time I go there, I always end up asking for a supervisor who eventually tells the staff member to proceed with the purchase as it will confirm. Today ,for some odd reason , even the supervisor refused to help me and then had the audacity to tell me to go the manager and he will also tell me the same thing. WHAT!!!! I must go to the manager? To cut a long story short, I started to take a video of this whole ordeal and they said I am not allowd to take a video. I eventually told the staff member and his supervisor Sharon that I am going to post this on social media. Hello Peter is just the beginning. I ended up being pulled from the counter by the security guard and escorted to the Manager who's name is Jeff Mabuza and the first thing he said to me was "What's your problem?" without even acknowledging me. He even said to me that I must go complain and that he will deal with me tomorrow. I didn't get my electricity and had to go buy at Shoprite which was quite a distance and they even refused for me to pay for the spice. Basically I am sad that customer service in the affluent areas is so much different from the customer service in the location. It is such a pity that`they treat their customers this way only because they have this notion that we are all illiterate and don't complain .
I took up a contract with MTN in 2013 and I was quite happy with them ever since, they almost never let me down and thus I renewed my contract with them in 2016. Things went awry financially for me towards Dec 2016 and I was eventually handed over to the attorneys due to overdue payments and my number was ultimately suspended. Less than a month after receiving calls from MBD Inc , the attorneys, I settled the account in July and received a paid up letter from them. I have called their 808 number to reinstate my number on a prepaid basis, I have sent numerous emails and have made countless visits to your branches and not even your branch employees are willing to help. They always tell me "send an email". Will I ever get my number back MTN?
I recently bought a Polo 1.4 from this dealership . I dealt with Salmaan the whole time, He was all nice and friendly and doing things timeously prior to the purchase as well as on the day that the deal was finalised and I was told that the card had never been in an accident. I was having issues with the car so I took I the car to three sources. I took the car for a 2nd Dekra inspection and it did not pass (how did it pass the 1st?) All issues that were found with the car were the same and confirmed that the car had been in an accident . Awaiz denied the proof. Now that they have my money, Salmaan makes empty promises and fails to deliver on all of them. They finally decided to fix the car after going back and forth and threatening to take them to the cleaners. I left the car for over a week with them and only a few things were fixed. I asked for the invoices for all the parts that they fixed and Salmaan keeps coming up with excuses as to why he cannot send them to me. I have been calling Salmaan asking him to send me the details and refund me but every time he says he forgets. Salman is very incompetent and I would not recommend Awaiz Exoticars to anybody. Worst service EVER!!!!!
I walked into Chicken Licken Tswelapele situated next to Tembisa Megamart.I approached a male employee with headsets on who like he was doing two jobs at once by servicing the drive thru and walk in customers which didn't seem to make sense to. As I approached him he told me to wait as he needs to listen to what the drive thru customer was saying. I let it slip as I assumed they were short staffed. I was then assisted by a lady and I told her I'd like the 6 Hot wings and and chips meal. She took my order and I paid. When finally my order number was called out I realised that I was only given six wings in a packet and no chips. I then called the gentleman from earlier on and told him that this is not my order. He then told me it's not his problem I must speak to the lady who assisted and called out the next number. The lady then, pompously denied not hearing what I ordered and I left it and told to change it. I added the difference and she cheated me with my changed. I demanded to see the manager as I was getting tired of speaking to incompetent people. The manager then told his employees that he is busy after I waited for 30 mins. I asked for his/her name and no one seemed to kno
