Pringles large tube priced on shelf R17,99.Rang R19,99 at till! Had to schlep to Customer Service.2 staff at counter-explained I need their urgent assistance as I bought ice cream and since they had no ice in the store, the ice cream has already started melting.Advised about Pringle price issue.Both looked at me very disinterested &the one staff had the audacity to say, sorry I did not hear you?! I was fuming!I again as per the first time,clearly explained.The woman made an announcement for Marvin.I asked where Marvin was &they said in that glass booth in the Management's office.He was not getting up after 2 minutes &I said they needed to walk there &go and call him.The one staff member slowly walked away.There was no communication or action from either one of the two, to tell me that they understood the urgency &that they cared at all!She announced again &then Marvin showed up.Was rude and abrupt and said to just give me the right price.No apologies,no interest to even correct the issue on the shelf! I asked for double the difference price policy for THEIR error &was told the policy no longer exists!?! Pick & Pay clearly is not protecting the customer against system &staff errors!
Spent a total of 45 mins on phone-2 consultants & a supervisor later & still no answers to basic tariff questions on business ADSL services. Finally got put through to Brendon in Sales department. Popped in at Pinnacle Point clubhouse for a drink at the bar and possibly something light to eat from the bar menu! Unfortunately the almost 30 stairs and no lift, made the bar area inaccessible to my disabled father. Buffet was being served as it was a Sunday and if we took at least 1 buffet meal, they would allow us to sit downstairs in the restaurant. We were not really in the mood for large buffet meal but in the end 3 of the 4 did buffet.Unfortunately the Sunday roast was not great! Roast potatoes were cold and beef roast was very tough.
