I have a wifi contract with Telkom which I opened around April 2015. The contract included the ADSL line as well as an uncapped data/internet package. I cancelled the data package in May and replaced it with a package from MWeb. I informed Telkom and they informed me that it takes 30 days to cancel. I asked them not to cancel the ADSL line as I needed it to be active in order for me to continue using my data package with MWeb. This was understood for a short while until 7 days later, Telkom cancelled my ADSL line. I contacted the call centre and got my ADSL line reactivated on 17 May 2015. Everything worked fine up until now where my ADSL line was again cancelled. Mind you, it takes at least 20-40 minutes to get anyone to pick up the phones at the Telkom call centre. My ADSL has been down for two weeks now. The call centre agent from the Technical department informed me that it would take 'about' 7 days to replace my existing ADSL line with a new line. I'm still billed for Telkom data that I am not even using. Nobody at Telkom has resolved my issue and I am still being sent from pillar to post in their call centre.
