Had Ruan Kotze install solar panels on the roof on my house. He had no problem dealing with the fact that it's not in his own town and promptly made the drive (60kms) to come and do the installation. The problem came in when one of the batteries failed. We had phoned several times and after finally getting hold of Ruan, made an appointment for him to come and fix the problem. Date set, it came and went without Ruan showing up to solve the problem. This person has a real problem to honouring his promises, and his after-sale service is nonexistent. I cannot get myself to convince others, to get his company to install solar panels on my recommendation.

On 8 October 2015 I transferred my wife's Vodacom account onto my account. On 2 November 2016 Vodacom tried to subtract another debit order from her account. She is now held liable for this amount even after the account has been transferred to my name.

Furthermore, the account has been changed on 8 October 2015 to a uChoose 50 so that the amount to be debited is only R50 per month, but Vodacom tried to debit R260 on 2 November 2015.

I am being phoned by lawyers for this money which my wife does NOT owe. The lawyers gave me the number for Vodacom Legal but they referred me back to the lawyers. No one is able to clear up this matter.

If this is not resolved soon I will leave Vodacom of whom I have been a loyal customer some 1999 to go to someone else with better service.

My wife bought a car a year ago and financed it through ABSA Vehicle Finance. We recently settled pur debt with them since the car has been sold. Now when we want to transfer ownership to the new owner, we need the original registration papers which are in possession of ABSA.

WHY NOT TELL US THAT YOUR YOU WILL REQUEST THE PAPERS AND SEND THEM TO US, THE MOMENT WE SETTLED OUR DEBT!?!?
I enquired about the free travel insurance which is applicable when purchasing flight tickets with my FNB Gold Cheque Card. My reference number is 2NS6I1UF.
I would have been phoned within 2 working days, but 2 weeks later I have not been phoned yet..
Bad service
I went to the Sandton City branch of ABSA on 12 Aug to have my account closed. I was told that I would be given a phonecall to have it closec later that day, nothing happened.

I had to go back on 14 Aug and again request for the same. This time I was told to draw a certain amount to leave just enough for the service fee to close the account. I was eventually given a phone call on 18 Aug and requested to be phoned back later since I was on the road, nothing. I was phoned again on 19 Aug, and after confirming postal adres, ID no, etc I was told to cut up my card and consider the account closed.

On the 29th I receive an e-mail with my latest statement of said account that would have been closed 2 weeks ago, less R60 banking fees deducted for the month of Aug. The account is still open!!! Now ABSA will probably expect me to pay an additional fee to have the account closed because the amount left will not be enough.

Don't know who to contact to have the account closed ASAP and not having to pay extra money since there was enough to begin with! PLEASE HELP!!
I needed to have my SIM card cut into a Micro SIM. It was bad enough that the Vodacom shop did not have a cutter and sent me to Autopage, but I certainly did not expect to pay R100 just for such a simple procedure!
I mean, it literally took longer to print out the receipt (no 059010) than it did to cut the card.
Surely R100 is a bit excessive for such a simple procedure..
Let's say the service cost me nothing, I would have told plenty of people out the good service at Autopage, but rest assured that I will definitely tell plenty of people about this daylight robbery!
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab4 on 8 Dec 2014. The battery started giving me problems lately and I took it to Vodacom Repairs in Sandton City (Office Towers 1st floor). Job number:10983751.
I was told that the guaruntee on a battery is 6 months. I could not believe my ears!
I took a look at my contract and noticed that it said: \Warranty from date of purchase lies with the manufacturer". I checked Samsung's website and found that it clearly states that the warranty on a battery is 12 months!
I told Vodacom Repairs about this"
It's like this: In April 2015 I signed a NEW contract with Kelly stating that I started working there on 1 April 2015 until 30 April 2019. There are no mentiones of the previous contracts that I had with Sizano (taken over by Kelly).
In the contract it clearly states that this is a new job which commenced on 1 April 2015. The previous contract was not valid anymore since Sizano does not exist anymore, and by right my leave day balance should have been paid out back then. Neither I nor Kelly gave any attention to this.
At the moment I have given almost 3 weeks notice at my job (since my contract specifies that 1 week notice should be given in the first 6 months) and Kelly does not accept this because they say that I have been working here for longer than that.
Kelly plans to take 6 days of my leave to compensate for the 4 week notice period and then pay out the balance, but by right they should pay me the leave balance that was owed to me at the end of March 2015 and allow me to give them one week notice.

I pointed out the flaw in their contract, and they said it will be rectified (which means that they know there is a flaw). I would like to see their response on this issue.
