Rental - KS-81294 Returned their vehicle on the 24th of October 2023 @ Woodford King Shaka Airport, to date they still have not returned my holding deposit of about R3800.00. Called, emailed whatever, the money is not refunded. When i queried last week on November 8th i was sent a lousy document that claimed that my refund was processed on the 04th of November 2023. Till to date, no money has been deposited back to me. This is now just pure theft. I just want my money returned and cut ties with this losers. I am currently away on business travel and upon returning to Durban I shall personally visit these ********s at the branch and deal with this situation decisively. No1 should have to beg rental companies to return your hard earned money. I emailed customer care and demanded proof of payment since they claimed the money was processed. No response. What the hell must one do now? 19 days later after i returned your car - still no refund. How is that normal?
So i went to game Ballito in KZN, bonus month has come and was ready to enjoy my hard earned money......so i buy TV and a a soundbar to a value of R17000.00, i produce my card at the till, insert and pay just like any other customer. As i walk to the back of the store to collect my goods, 2 people come chasing me like a thief and ask me "sir can i please see your card" i reply no, she insists i give her the card , i refused and ask the following questions WHY? WHO are you What if i don't give you my card? The lady kept replying ''its a procedure and i have to verify your card'' Then i asked that there is other customers buying at the same shop at the time it was mix people buying at different tills, only myself was single out with this Bull****t. i again asked the incompetent supervisor and teller, why me? Then i handed over my card to avoid drama, The ultimate answer was "people like you, of your age group they target this store" i used to buy supplements and household goods and my card has never been verified at any game branch. Basically i felt like m a suspected criminal with my money being spent there. if it wasn't for the sale i would have taken a refund and move my money elsewhere.
For about 6 months, this company managed to obtain my cellphone number, banking details and created debit orders of R99.99 a month, for what service I don't know. Call their landlines from internet and there is no answer. I mentioned this in passing to my colleagues and three of us are affected by the same scam. Its a petty our banks allow this thing to occur , i mean in 6 months that's R600.00 stolen from me alone. From now on i have to reverse this debits every month. I hope the goverment or something rescues us from this fraudulent schemes
Joined Mi way in April 2015 and had an accident in July 2015 which resulted in a total write off of the car which was on comprehensive cover with car hire.<br> <br> 1) Received car hire within 72 hours after lodging the claim.<br> 2) Was constantly updated with the claims progression.<br> 3)Submitted all required docs and all amounts as per the policy schedule were settled to the bank and can afford to buy a car within 20 days after my accident.<br> <br> I am surely going to stick around Mi Way for sometime.<br> <br> Thanks.
