Despite many attempts since early October 2024, to get hold on Woolworths about a complaint, I have had no feedback. I have tried by email at least a dozen times, and via the phone. Now the email bounces back as apparently there inbox is too full. Shocking customer service.
Incredible customer service. Blown away by their efficiency, care and thoughtfulness. Their earrings are also wonderful. I had an issue but they supported it very well!
Shocked that Woolworths has not responded to a complaint via email sent in October 2024. I've received multiple replies saying, "we will get back to you" but no one does. Unacceptable.
I have to say that Takealot has started a whole new era of online shopping in SA. They really get it right - fast service, friendly attitudes and efficient customer care. It is so refreshing. Even when things go wrong, they are a pleasure to deal with. Feeling excited about the example that they are leading!
I love Mr Price Home but today I left the store feeling very annoyed. Firstly, the staff who assisted me - all three - were unhelpful and took no initiative to assist me. Their service was slow and only made me more frustrated.
Secondly, I was trying to buy a gift off a registry. This could be accessed online at home but the store could find no record of it. So in the end, I requested that the items I purchased please be removed from the registry. I was told by the cashier that I must please call back and give the registry number. I tried, but no one answered the 5 times I called. And much to my horror, I was charged for the ringing, from 2 seconds into the call.
The final straw is the fact that as I left the store, I noticed that the bottom of the item was scratched and damaged. I went straight to a clerk and asked if I could please replace it. Instead of assisting me himself, he called someone who was busy so I had to wait. I went to look for a replacement myself, only to find that it was of course the last one. Upon arrival at home, I have discovered even more damage. I am thoroughly disappointed and have to go back now, after trying to avoid 2 trips to town from where I live.
Over a month ago my husband took my Skagen watch to have the battery replaced at Jewellery by Diana. Within 5 minutes, the back of the watch had been damage after a pen knife was used to try pry open the back, and the front glass had been cracked. They were then asked to fix the watch at their own expense. The watch was returned last week with damage to the inside face of the watch. Diana denies any damage and says that the watch was designed to be this way and that I just did not notice it before. She explained that the watch was repaired out of good faith, which as much as I appreciate, is not acceptable as the watch was damaged due to negligence. The watch, which was not only expensive, bought overseas and valuable, is also of sentimental value and is now damaged beyond the point that it was when I took it into the shop. The company completely denies any responsibility.
