No customer service at all! Told us they will install a windscreen by 13h00 on that day, then Whatsapped much later to say we must rather go somewhere else as there is too much traffic...!
Pieter Stols was the salesman who called me and he was a pleasure to deal with, from a company who's services I needed! Haven't had to claim yet so will see how it goes but all my initial impressions are fantastic, for a happy change :-)
<p> Like so many of the complainants here, I applied for a loan from ECF. The fee was deducted from my account on 25/11/15. Now, end June, it has been deducted again. After being completely unsucessful in phoning them, I emailed them using the online form. My email was escalated to Marius, who obviously couldn't give a **** about conacting me, either in regard to a refund or just bothering to explain why this happened. I have now contacted the ombudsman for financial services, in the hope of stopping this place from taking any more money illegally from anyone else!!</p>
I work for surgeons who specialize in breast cancer surgery. Our Bestmed patient was diagnosed with breast cancer, had a mastectomy, completed chemo and started the reconstruction then was diagnosed again with a recurrence. She had surgery again, underwent radiation and then started the reconstruction process again. This lady is in her late 30's, with excellent health prospects ahead of her. When it was time to have her expander exchanged for an implant, Dr requested authorisation for a lift on the other breast to achieve symmetry. It was denied as a scheme exclusion. Dr spoke to a team leader who was supposed to ask the doctor on Bestmed's medical review team to phone Dr back. No call was ever received. This patient either has to go through life with 2 completely different breasts, or find the funds to finance the lift on the non-cancer side. So far, other medical aids that we have dealt with will finance a lift or reduction on the non-cancer side so that the patient looks as normal as possible; and they do not see it as a cosmetic procedure. Not only does Bestmed not have humanity, their customer service attitude from team leader upwards is absolutely terrible too.
As a first-time possible member, I went onto their website and had an online chat with Asia, who was awesome and helped patiently with all my queries! They are affordable and friendly.
As a new member, I have to commend EM and in particular Branwill who was very friendly, proficient and patiently dealt with all my queries and issues.<br> So far it has been a pleasure dealing with this company!
