Our stay here was extremely disappointing and raised serious safety and hygiene concerns. We were initially quoted R1500 for 3 nights (including 2 vehicles), but were charged extra on arrival with shifting explanations. This already set a poor tone. At our campsite, what appeared to be solid concrete slabs near the braai collapsed while we were chopping wood, revealing a deep hole with an exposed water pipe. This could have seriously injured our child. Instead of concern, management reacted with hostility. We even offered to replace the slabs ourselves. The following day, a strong sewage smell spread across the entire campsite, making it unpleasant to breathe. We were told it was from g**** composting, but the smell was unmistakably like human waste. Combined with visibly dirty river water, this raised major hygiene concerns. The campsite itself was also poorly maintained: Dusty, sandy site (while others had grass) Broken glass, *******, and devil thorns scattered around A rope swing over the river positioned above hidden rocks – very dangerous On departure, our R200 deposit was unfairly withheld for the slabs, despite our willingness to cover costs and already overpaying. To make matters worse, staff were rude and confrontational. Overall: unsafe, poorly maintained, and unprofessional. Would not recommend.
Very shoddy service, 'chat' on their site doesnt get response. 3 days to reply to emails. Zero after sales service for refunds as customer has to pay for shipping back and forth. Im in cape town, so i paid R99 shipping, sunglasses arrived with boxes bent and cracked, sunglasses were way bigger than pictures and did not fit my head, but to return it to them for R150 plus R99 and then they probably wont accept the return because the boxes are damaged already... Also says 'return within 7 days' and 'return within 14 days' of receiving item, in the same paragraph in their policy. So which one is it? Paid R600, so i have to pay close to R300 in shipping to get my refund. no thanks. I wont be shopping with this company again.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. ZERO COMMUNICATION AND NO CLUE ON THE PHONE. DONT CALL BACK AND STILL NO RESPONSE. SENT OUT A UPS IN MID DECEMBER WITHOUT AC POWER CABLE THUS IT IS NOT USABLE. GUY ON THE PHONE SAYS ITS AN INTERNATIONAL CABLE NOT SOLD HERE, I THEN FIND THE CABLE ON THEIR WEBSITE! CALL BACK TO CHAT TO SOMEONE ELSE, AND THEY SAY THEY'RE GONNA CHAT TO THE SUPPLIER AND CALL ME BACK. ITS NOW BEEN DAYS WITHOUT RESPONSE ONCE AGAIN. REALLY BAD SERVICE! AVOID AVOID AVOID
<p>Tried cancelling our adsl subscription for 6 months now.. but the debit order keeps going off. Telkom owes me about R3k by now, and every month i go into their shop to cancel again, and every time they say "its still active on our system".. and "we'll log the cancellation request, a manager will contact you". Im yet to receive any phone calls regarding my cancellation. And i dont have alot of free time to stand in your slow and useless queues where your staff 'log a request' and nothing happens. Unacceptable. Poor performance telkom. Someone please help.</p>
