I have been struggling to get my account closed from RCS GALAXY (GALAXY JEWELLERS) I have not used that account since Feb 2019 when I finished paying the account. I have called and emailed numerous times but no one seems to be interested in assisting me with closing that account. I have previously emailed and a Chumani replied but now just ignores my emails and request. I would please appreciate assistance with this matter so that I can get the account removed from my credit profile.
I did an upgrade on my account for top up contract.<br> <br> The lady said that it will be a top up contract but it seems to me like it was never loaded as a top up contract. As I received a bill of R2230.92 we phoned Vodacom regarding the problem and they said that it was an open line and that the amount is that high because of data usage. We never pay more than R500 for the two phones per month, and I don't use data as my phone is set on Wi-Fi as I have Wi-Fi in the house.<br> <br> The money was deducted from my bank account and after various calls to the customer service agents, no one was able to help me.<br> <br> I did an upgrade for top up not for an open line so this was not my fault and should not have happened. I am very unhappy, specially that no one was able to assist me and that no one really cares on assisting me with this huge bill.
