Request to transfer line to newly built house in March and for installation of internet line. Telkom lines are in the manhole across the road and needs to be pulled across into manhole in our driveway. All piping is in place, but points in strange directions, so thought/ guidance is needed. <br> Technicians were at the house but apparently had the following issues:<br> No infrastructure - there has always been infrastructure<br> Manhole across the road damaged - it was immediately repaired<br> Manhole dirty - we cleaned it<br> No pipe to house - there has always been a pipe with a yellow draw wire to the manhole outside <br> Last technician that was there admitted that everything is in place and that he would send someone a few days later. This was more than a month ago. The order was then cancelled as I didn't answer their \no number calls"and with no work done.<br> <br> Initial request was in March! I have been to their shop about 5 times"
We moved into our house end of January after they notified us end of November that it would be end December.<br> <br> We highlighted various issues during the building phase and always got the response \We'll sort it out"which they sometimes did and sometimes they just made it worse. But they never let us know about the outcome.<br> <br> According to the contract we had seven days to supply the snag list which we did. And they had seven days to complete it. After seven days we had to contact them and they could only give us a date much later. It is now October and there are still quite a few items outstanding. And loads of items we just got a shrug and told it is not worth fixing.<br> <br> The main problem with this company is that there is no supervision of sub contractors and absolutely no communication with the future residents of their properties.<br> <br> I know the building industry has low standards and we had low expectations"
