Useless store. I purchased a LG Series 90 TV from Stax last week Friday. As it was on special (nearly 50% off) I knew that it may sell out fast so I called ahead and made sure that the TV was still in stock to which Stax confirmed it was. I pad over R25 000.00 for the TV and I recieved an order number and invoice from them, A day later, I was not contacted the store to indicate when the TV was to be delivered. When I called, I dealt with a lady by the name of Petra. She told me that there was no stock available and when I insisted that that was not acceptable, she agreed to ascertain if her buyers would be able to source one for me and that she would get back to me. She did not. I called again and she stated that there was not stock available and I therefore requested a refund. She informed me that the refund would take 5 to 10 working days and I requested that she provided me with an email confirmation that the refund has been placed. To date and despite calling 3 times, I have not received any confirmation that the refund has been submitted. I have to proceed with legal action against these people as they are dishonest and cannot and will not provide me with proof that the refund was even submitted. Pathetic.
Please don't use this company. They firstly didn't fix the geyser issue I had, then they put a foot through the ceiling and refuse to pay for their own negligence. Finally when I complained about the water not being hot, they wanted me to pay for something I had already paid for in the quote. They are dishonest and unrealible. Stay away from them.
The cellular provider is unable to provide any network signal in and around my residence being in Northcliff. As a result they had confirmed that the contract will be cancelled due to the network issues and that the cellular phone be handed into the Cell C branch in Rosebank to be \Booked In". After the cell phone was booked in I was instructed to call the customer center to ensure that the contract was cancelled. I have called the center five times now and they have not been able to assist with the cancellation despite their own inability to provide me with any signal. As a result I am currently without a cellphone and have paid for a contract which should be cancelled as represented by Cell C. I am at my wits end as Cell C is unable to cancel the contract due to their own inefficiency and incompetence."""
