In June 2016 my car was in an accident and took it to Delta Panelbeaters. After the repairs were done I had to take it back three more times. The rubber in the mudguard was not installed, there were overspray on other parts of the body. The stone chip decals was not installed. My wife drive the car and after 1,5 weeks when I fill the car up with petrol I notice that there was overspray in the petrol cap area and also the rubber was sprayed white and had to take it back again. In July this year I had to have a scratch on the door done again. I thought I will give Delta Panel beaters another chance. I completed a form where they ask you if you want a sms on the progress of the car and I ticked "Yes" but had to call once again to find out if the car was ready. Repair was done and receive the car on Friday, 18 August 2017. I called Mr. Bosman on Monday, 21 August because the body at the bottom of the door made a bulge. He said they will fetch the car and when I called late afternoon he said he completely forgot about it. Took the car back myself today, 22 August. The manager, Mr. Bosman asked me why it is like that, I said I should ask him the question, surely quality inspections should be done before the vehicle left the workshop. He even said to me that he saw it, strange when you saw it why let the vehicle leave the workshop. I called Delta Panel beaters two weeks ago to speak to Mr. Gaffley, the owner but was told he is not available and the he will call me back, up to today he did not call back. This morning when I took the vehicle back I asked if I can speak to Mr. Gaffley and was told he is busy on his computer and can't see me now I have to wait for a while. I waited for about 30minutes and again ask if Mr. Gaffley is still busy and was told that he will be long on his computer. Now if his computer work is more important than his customer, where his income is derive from, then I have a big question mark of his customer relations. People please think carefully if you want to take your car for the repairs to Delta Panel beaters. I will definitely also take the issue up with my insurance, Santam.

I refer to my post on 1 June of terrible service by Glocell.

As explain I have requested my contract to be terminated on 30 June 2017 but was terminated by Glocell on 30 May 2017 and also the terrible service rendered prior to the termination of my contract.

I could not believe it this morning when I received an email with billing details for the period 1 June to 30 June 2017 for the amount of R147.34. How on earth is it possible if Glocell terminated the contract a month earlier on 30 May 2017 but still receive a bill for the month of June 2017.

I stress again people think carefully before enter into a contract with Glocell.

Nick Stickling

Ok here we go:

I had a Autopage contract and with the selling of Autopage Cell C business to Glocell I had no option to continue with Gocell. My 24 contract ended in July 2016 and I gave notice that I want to continue on a monthly basis but want to reduce the additional data bundle from 500 to 100. This was done and all went well and the correct billing was done. Then all of a sudden I was billed again for the 500mb data from October to December 2016, but did only receive 100mb. Qeried it again and was partly rectified. As from January to March 2017 I was billed for the 100mb data but did receive the additional data. Queried it again and it was rectified after a couple of calls and finally spoken to the manager of the department.

I gave notice on 23 May 2017 to end my contract on 30 June 2017 and I was told that my air time and data will be transferred on termination. On the early evening of 30 May 2017 I tried to make a call and was informed that I have to recharge my account.

I called Glocell customer service and was informed that my contract was terminated on my request. I responded that I requested my contract to be terminated as at 30 June 2017. I was informed if I want to have it reinstated I have to reinstate it for a 24 month period which I was not prepared to do.

I also enquire why my data and airtime was not transferred I was told it does not get transferred.

My question is why can't my data and airtime not be transferred if I have alreadypaid for it.

Please people think careful before you enter into a contract with Glocell, they can definitely learn from Autopage because I never had a single problem in the alomost 20 years with them.

Nick Stickling
