Absolutely disgusting service from the Parking office this evening. 16 Dec 2024. As a pensioner I went to the Customer service desk to validate my ticket. I was told by the Consultant to go to the gate and press the HELP button. Just before 8.00 pm , I pressed the Help button from the Parking Machine on the Game entrance. I explained that I was a Pensioner, she insisted that I come to the Parking office. I asked for her name repeatedly, she ignored me and kept repeating that I come to the office to stamp the ticket. I eventually paid and drove to the office to see who this person was. Despite me going and asking for her name she ignored me. I did raise my voice to her. None of the staff seem to wear name badges. The other staff have no issue during the evening to allow us pensioners to exit. Totally unacceptable. My name is Sunny Naidoo Sunnynaidoo@ymail.com
I am totally Disgusted with the manner in which my complaint that was lodged with Samsung South Africa. I reported a consistent noise on the fridge I assume emanates whenever the compressor kicks in to cool or maintain set temperatures. They send out a local rep;air company in Pmb. They instruct him to replace certain parts on various occasssions he returns and does the bidding. The nosie/rattle remains unresolved for 2 years until the warranty expires which it has. As far as Samsung is concerned the Technician reports no fault found and they are happy., I am not . Normally you will hear a barely audible Hiss when the compressor kicks in, and then stops , thisnis normal. My unit can sometimes run for 20 mins making a fairly loud rattle when one cannot even have a decent conversation. I never complained about freezing or cooling. All the while asking them to please authoorise a replacement or refund which the refused. They still refuse 2 years later. I have pointed out to the Technician and reair companty the source of the noise which seems to be a rattle on the side panels of the fridge. When the noise starts you place your palm on the side of the fridge with a little pressure and the noise stops. This I must add is within the sealed confines of the Fridge to which the Technician cannot reach. I have said that this is a Latent Defect and as such should be replaced. Now they want to offer me Depreciation as a gesture of goodwill on a unit which has a factory Fault. I cannot accept this as this will entail more money being spent . Dragging their heels for 2 years .
I was called by the agent purporting to be from Telkom. He refused to give me details as to how he had my number. When asked became evasive. Contacted the call centre 0861377739 and was put thru to a supervisor Clinton despite asking to speak to a manager. No managers available and will not provide names or contact numbers for fear of harrassment. we as consumers have absolutely no rights of harassment as this is what their calls are. When confronted Clinton advises that an email needs to be sent to their customer support at Ping. When asked for their contact at MWEB none was forthcoming. This is a serious Breach of Consumer Rights as this amounts to an unsolicited call more so misrepresenting oneself as an Employee of Telkom. This needs to be investigated by Telkom and if MWEB is responsible needs to also Clean up their ACT. Sunny Naidoo
