On 19 December 2025 I was shopping at Liberty midlands mall and after the having supper at Burger king and then proceeding to the undercover carpark below Edgars with my family I was told by a security guard the access to the parking area is closed. This was around 9 30pm and she let us into a side entrance in the mall where we came out onto the paved area witj my family and trolley. Firstly the distance was so far and we got wet in the drizzle and it's was so poorly lit that we could not see properly that the paved area narrowed. My sister is a teacher with a rare eye problem called STAR GARDS that her eye sight is only 23% and she has a 7 year old child and we had to walk in such poor conditions to our vehicle. My sister tripped twice while walking in the dark. IS THIS HOW MIDLANDS MALLS TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS? Check the cctv footage if you think im lying?

A security guard confronted me regarding picking up my temporarily disabled sister from the entrance, which I did explain to him but he keeps insisting that I must park in a disabled parking (for a quick pickup because I took out the vehicle from a Normal parking bay near another entrance), he then kept saying that I'm being aggressive to which I responded that taxis are always ranking outside the entrance and picking up/dropping of passengers, to which he responded that only taxis are allowed to pick up and drop off (so there's a difference in rules for private vehicles and taxis) , he then repeated that I'm being aggressive (for pointing the obvious differentiation) to which I responded that if you want to see me get aggressive ,I can , to which he responded you can come try (in a very aggression provoking way) to which I responded back aggressively, rules are supposed to be equal for everyone, if I'm not allowed to pick up at the entrance the same rule must apply to taxis (which cause havoc on a busy day) y'all need to gets y'all's act together and apply rules that don't discriminate.

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the parking payment system at your mall during our visit this past weekend. All the parking payment machines appeared to be out of order, causing immense inconvenience. Patrons were left standing in long queues, attempting one machine after another, only to find that they were either non-functional or only accepted cash. My companions and I waited in the heat for over half an hour, only to realize, after multiple attempts, that the situation was the same across all machines. What was particularly upsetting was the complete lack of communication and support. None of the machines had signs indicating they were "Out of Order" or "Cash Only," and there were no security personnel or staff available to assist or provide guidance. This situation reflects poorly on the mall’s management and its commitment to ensuring a smooth experience for visitors. This level of inconvenience is unacceptable. As paying customers, we should not have to endure such disorganization and lack of consideration. I strongly urge the mall to take the following immediate steps to prevent this from happening again: Provide Clear Signage: Ensure all non-functional machines are promptly marked as "Out of Order" or indicate any limitations (e.g., "Cash Only"). Staff Assistance: Station trained personnel near the parking machines during peak hours or in times of technical issues to assist patrons. Offer Compensation: When machines are out of order, consider waiving parking fees as a gesture of goodwill to affected patrons. Improve Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain parking payment machines to prevent such widespread failures.

I had a disgusting experience from the lady who was working At a exit gate number 2 she is very rude and disrespectful she took a ticket from me and she was very slow I told her to speed up the process as she was busy talking with her cell phone . On heard phones when I was about to go out she followed me and trew a ticket on my face and said I must re join the quere .I said I can't do that I was waiting for about 10 Min at the gate blocking the free flow of traffic because of the *********** staff members from Midlands Mall. I tried to get assistance from the machine by pressing intercom they did not answer.this happened around 11h00 on 24 December 2024 it is unnaceptable this caused unnecessary traffic due to one person who is ***********

Absolutely disgusting service from the Parking office this evening. 16 Dec 2024. As a pensioner I went to the Customer service desk to validate my ticket. I was told by the Consultant to go to the gate and press the HELP button. Just before 8.00 pm , I pressed the Help button from the Parking Machine on the Game entrance. I explained that I was a Pensioner, she insisted that I come to the Parking office. I asked for her name repeatedly, she ignored me and kept repeating that I come to the office to stamp the ticket. I eventually paid and drove to the office to see who this person was. Despite me going and asking for her name she ignored me. I did raise my voice to her. None of the staff seem to wear name badges. The other staff have no issue during the evening to allow us pensioners to exit. Totally unacceptable. My name is Sunny Naidoo Sunnynaidoo@ymail.com

On the 13 October 2024 at around 14H00 I was standing outside the mall and smoking at the standard bank entrance and I an aeroplane doing fly overs and tried to video it but failed. After a few minutes I then went to milky lane to meet my family. Then all of a sudden a security guard came up to me demanding to see my phone and when i asked why he said a lady told him i took a picture of her. I told he has no right to see my phone cos its an invasion of my privacy and if he wants to see my phone he must get a count order. My wife then said if i got nothing to hide show him and then i unlocked my phone and told him to see and he found nothing of such. I just wonder if this is how all visitors are treated at the mall or is it only the Indians. Furthermore I was on my way to Durban and decided to stop at the mall for lunch and ice cream.
