These are the professional theives in the ISP sector ,they debited an increased amount from my account without prior notification of increase (which is over 21% !!) ,their whatsapp consultants can't assist me and are telling me that im supposed to have an increase of over 28% which is ridiculous, if you'd ask me for a good ISP 6 months ago i would recommend webafrica but after experiencing such incompetency I'd never recommend them to even my worst enemy-they don't deserve to suffer like this, absolutely terrible ISB
A security guard confronted me regarding picking up my temporarily disabled sister from the entrance, which I did explain to him but he keeps insisting that I must park in a disabled parking (for a quick pickup because I took out the vehicle from a Normal parking bay near another entrance), he then kept saying that I'm being aggressive to which I responded that taxis are always ranking outside the entrance and picking up/dropping of passengers, to which he responded that only taxis are allowed to pick up and drop off (so there's a difference in rules for private vehicles and taxis) , he then repeated that I'm being aggressive (for pointing the obvious differentiation) to which I responded that if you want to see me get aggressive ,I can , to which he responded you can come try (in a very aggression provoking way) to which I responded back aggressively, rules are supposed to be equal for everyone, if I'm not allowed to pick up at the entrance the same rule must apply to taxis (which cause havoc on a busy day) y'all need to gets y'all's act together and apply rules that don't discriminate.
This morning I received a call from one of their call centre agent , saying that she was calling on behalf of MTN for one of my contracts that EXPIRES by the end of this month (May 2024) whereas I know my contact period ends in August , she then proceeded to offer me a new package at a lower price, then I asked her is this the month to month option (similar to an option I opted for on one of my other number, where I can keep the number on my account and upgrade at anytime) to which she rep**** that I have a contract SIM and can't switch to that option, then I asked if i can remove my number from my account and continue using it as pre paid to which she also said no and also said if I don't take a new package my number will be recycled ,to which I rep**** that are you holding me at ransom (because that's what it felt like , I had 2 options either take a renewed package or lose my number) and she abruptly just dropped the call thereafter. Extremely disappointed with this behaviour
After sales service is terrible, technicians order wron parts and keep us waiting,it's been 9 days since I logged a warranty claim on my washing machine and they just keep making us wait , absolutely ridiculous service.
Terrible service from telesales ,they call you and force you to take their product even though you clearly refuse, then they asked for my email address (which they will send specials) ,what am I going to do with your specials if I'm not signing up? The answer is they will sell my email address to other "marketing agencies" (since they couldn't get a sale from me) ,when I refused to share my email address they have the audacity to ask me why , it's my choice and my personal information that I refuse to give out
Very smooth process of application ,I get all delivery updates , customer service is a bit slow but they fully understand a query when asked , only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because there was an extra line Being opened on my account Without my consent ,lucky for the email updates I was alerted to this ,Mondo needs to do an audit of their staff because this was definitely someone inside Mondo ,I hope this issue is taken seriously as it can hurt the reputation of Mondo.
Worst internet service (Mtn being the backbone on their LTE service amazes me that the speeds are worse than cellc and Rain) , ever since I signed up to their uncapped LTE for R999 , the maximum speed I've been able to reach is close to 20mbps and get between 0-4mbps on a regular basis with pings of over 45000ms (not a typo forty five thousand ,got screenshot to prove it), and when you contact customer service they tell you to reboot the device , at least with rain I get speeds of 1-10mbps with a maximum of 700 ping for less than half the price and it's not fixed LTE (although Rain has worse customer service than supersonic, at least the network is decent)
