so, I get a call from these ****s telling me about my contract migration lying to me about everything and now no one is willing to help me out, I have to pay some unreasonable subscription on my contract. I don't even know where to contact anymore because even Vodacom itself is unable to sort out my query

I was called by sales rep on 21 Feb who introduced himself as John from MTN regarding my upgrade that is due. He informed of a contract where I get R160 airtime and this can then be used to purchase data on the MTN app as there are monthly promos. This was the selling point as lets face it who needs airtime in this day and age. on 6 March I received the R160 airtime this is when I normally would receive my previous contract promos only to discover I cannot use the airtime to purchase data. I called MTN on 6 March to cancel and they said they will escalate. I called MTN again on 12 March as I have not received feedback only to be told I need to call Rewards Co, by now I'm confused as who are they why must I call them. Well I call Rewards co who now refuses to cancel my contract as according to them it's after the 10 day cooling off period. I obviously only discovered on 6 March when I first received the R160 airtime that I am unable to use it to purchase data and therefore was unaware this product does not suit my needs.

Zero stars if I could. Rewardsco are relentless with harassing calls to force us to accept an “early” upgrade and tablet that we have refused over the last three months. We unfortunately entered into a new 24 month data contract with Vodacom in December 2025. Within two weeks of sign up the calls started. Non stop! Even after numerous emails to Mondo to add our numbers to the DNC list and that we will report them to the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA) as well as the National Consumer Commission (NCC) and the ICASA ombudsman they persist with calls. Today “Fiona” called once again to speak to the Vodacom account holder about the 20GB upgrade and “free” tablet. These people have no respect for the rights of the consumer. They do not accept no for an answer and continue with the calls. Be very careful when you upgrade your contracts. Vodacom should not use these people.

A consultant called me from the rewards co to renew my home package, they told me that my installment would be 300 and something which I agreed to after authentication. He promised me everything went through and not even 2 minutes later, he called me again to say it was not processed, kept me on the line. he said, its gone through you'll only pay 300 and something at the end of November came end of November, I paid 400 and something end of December 400 and something January 400 and something now I get an email from MTN and stating that my new debit order would be 500. And something I will not be doing business. Or taking any call from rewards co ever again? And I'll find a way to end my contact with mtn , because I have a refused to be ****** like this month after month.

Rewardsco personnel telling lies to make me believe she work for Vodacom Upgrade department. She was quite serious about working for Vodacom. Rewardsco previously *****ed me over, and just told me there is nothing they can do about it. NOBODY SHOULD EVER DEAL WITH REWARDSCO. THE BUSINESS SHOULD JUST CLOSE DOWN

Based on recent customer reviews, this business delivers a consistently strong customer experience anchored by outstanding agent quality and rapid communication. Customers frequently name individual consultants and praise their friendliness, patience, and professionalism. Recurring praise is given to claims and roadside assistance, though a vocal minority report frustrating delays, rejected claims, and poor transparency around premium increases.
This business's biggest strength, according to Hellopeter's AI analysis, is Agent Quality & Customer Care. Named consultants are praised repeatedly for patience, friendliness, and going above and beyond. Words like 'amazing,' 'star,' and 'gem' appear frequently, reflecting genuinely caring human interactions.
The most common complaint, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Pricing, Premiums & Transparency. Customers appreciate premium reductions upon request but complain about unexplained annual increases, hidden excess charges, and debits continuing after cancellation. Transparency at policy inception is a recurring gap.
