I cancelled my contract with Vodacom during last month. The consultant at the call centre told me that the contract was on a month to month basis. I asked the consultant if there was any outstanding amount due. The answer was NO and I was also informed that I could cancel the service immediately, which I did. In December I got an email with a new invoice for December! Never received any Data or Airtime and also don't want the data or airtime because I cancelled the service. I have been trying to sort this out for more than 3 weeks but nobody is willing or able to assist. To make matters worse they have now handed the account over to legal.' Absolute pathetic service . I even tried the local Vodacom shop but they unfortunately cant assist me and wont give me the contact details of their Vodacom Regional Manager. They don't deserve an one star due to their pathetic service levels.
I did not give Vodacom permission to run a debit order for a third party fraudulent transaction. Reported this two weeks ago.Still waiting for a refund. Vodacom is taken my money without my permission!!!!! Still waiting for a manager to phone me.
Vodacom opened another account for me. I did not ask or apply for another contract. Call centre cant assist, regional Vodacom centre cant assist. Went to the Vodacom office in Greenacres. Also cant assist. Over R6000 has been taken from my account without my permission. I have asked for a Regional Manager to assist, staff cant give out managers contact info! This is shocking service. Taking a customer money without his permission and then not wanting to assist him.
VODACOM gave my contact details to one of their agents. The agent contacted me and told me he could offer me an contract upgrade from R514 to R599 per month, keeping my same number and getting R775 aiirtime with a per second billing upgrade package. The agent told me that he could see that I have bought airtime to top up. Who gave him this info? The sim card arrived and I then noticed that the number was not the same as per the agents promise. I phoned VODACOM and was told it is for a second contract and not an upgrade. I immediately cancelled the contract as per my right referring to the Consumer Protection Act. I told VODACOM not to charge me for the Contract as the sale was done on a deliberate misrepresentation basis. VODACOM has not listened and today have honoured their agents Deliberate Misrepresentation contract by deducting R775 from my bank account. I did not give them the authority to share my numbers or personal info to any of their agents. I also did not give them the authority to take money from my bank account. The call centre also do not want to give me the contact details for a regional manager. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER.
I have cancelled the policy in March 2015. Have phoned them on many occasions. I have requested the terms and conditions and have received nothing in writing, or recorded proof as requested or any refunds as promised.They keep on taking my monthly premiums without my permission. Where can I report this fraudulent activity as I am beyond frustrated with the pathetic service, shocking after sales service and refusing to accept my cancellation and taking away my right to cancel the telesales contract.
