We had an issue with the garden gate Absolut Fencing installed exactly 2 years ago at our home. The post had broken away from the wall and could therefore no longer open and close. I contacted Teodora at Absolut Fencing and she came back to me within an hour telling me she would speak to the installation team and see what they could do. The next day I received a call and Teodora confirmed the team would be at my house 2 days later at 8am to sort it out, and it would be handled under their excellent 20 year warranty with no charge. At 7:58am the team was in our driveway and came in to sort out the gate. They were friendly, efficient and the guy that did the repair actually commented on how good the garden was looking, because he was the one that installed the gate 2 years ago when we were busy with renovations, and he remembered the house. 30 Minutes later the gate was repaired, cleaned and they asked me to come and inspect to make sure I was happy. I am extremely impressed! It says so much that a company stands behind their warranty, sticks to their promises without question and get the job done efficiently. Well done Absolut Fencing - I remain a very happy customer and continue to recommend you to all that admire our beautiful fence.
I reported that my newly installed LTE Router was running slow, and needed the aerial re-positioned/checked, This was on 31st JULY (!!!) using the 081180 call centre and I received a reference number for the complaint (17020003). ZERO contact form anyone despite around 12 calls to the call centre. Discussed with 2 team leaders on the 081180 number (Zanele on 30th Sept and Elton Mfolo on 6 Oct) - no response from either. Eventually found Elton's email address, emailed him the 15th Oct and got a response 19th stating that an incident has been logged and I will be contacted shortly (ref 374872). It is now the 9th Nov I have had ZERO contact again from anyone at Telkom and have sent 2 unanswered emails to Elton.....the team leader!! I am paying for this lousy LTE service - they guaranteed I had coverage when I purchased it on their promotion. They installed the external aerial which worked for 2 weeks and then started getting slower and slower. Is there anyone at Telkom that has any respect whatsoever for their paying customers??? Eitehr they should come and sort it out or cancel my contract and take it back - PATHETIC SERVICE!!!
