Had a wonderful service from Nick. Was able to answer all my questions and attend to my queries promptly
This is now the 3rd time that I complain about Edgars since RCS took over. Firstly I cannot understand how they calculate the Amount owing, the closing balance and opening balance. My owing amount keeps escalating in spite of payments. The issue of interest is such a thorn. I once complained about the 6months plan and interest. They corrected it at one stage and credited me. However they charge ME for principal adjustment as if I requested an adjustment. They also put me on a 30 month budget plan which I don't understand. A few months later they charge me interest again. I complain and they credit me. They are still charging me a 17.50% interest, why I do not know. For the past 3 months they put me back on a 20 months revolving plan and 6 months interest again. I have not bought anything from Edgars in a long time, almost 2 years. I am only paying for insurances. In spite of that, my balance owing keeps on getting high even when I am paying. I feel so TRAPPED and completely disgusted with RCS. Dealing with Edgars is like a full time job. Where can I complain? Is there an ombudsman that I can contact and deal with the mess at Edgars?
Edgars is one company that is FRUSTRATING and IRRITATING. I have been a customer for years. I have been complaining and directing my queries since 2020. They keep on charging me the 17% interest keep on charging in spite of the promise that they will stop it. I have cancelled an insurance in March and the company has confirmed that it is cancelled but they still have it in my statements. I've sent emails to their complaints email with no response. I sent 2 in July, NO RESPONSE. Can this company please get their act together or stop managing because they are clearly not capable. Mpho
I received a statement in September indicating a purchase of over R 1 000 which I made in August in Sasolberg. I stay in Bloemfontein and never been to Sasolberg and never made a purchase. I went to the store, they phoned the office for me and I was assured that it will be sorted in the next statement. Lo.... nothing happened. I sent an email with my query and waited for almost 2 months to get a response which was actually not addressing my query. I received a forwarded message to another department to deal with the query. Worse still my next statement had another purchase which I never did and extra insurance covers. I sent another query, still no response. I am really frustrated!!!!! Can they at least respond.

I submitted a claim in February and they sent me forms and a list of panelebeaters to get a quote. I did so and send all the required documents to them. I waited for weeks to get an authorisation. Whe I eventually received correspondence form Sizwe Mweli they approved a claim with the highest amount. I wrote back to enquire about the decision to approve a claim that requires me to pay extra out of my pocket. Never got a reply. I made futher enquiries in May about my query, no response from Sizwe. I sent anotherenquery on 14 May and Sizwe responded that I should choose my preferred panel beater and they will approve it. I did so, that was the end again. In phoned in June talked to another lady who said she will send me forms again to get quotes. I refused and insisted to talk to Sizwe. Once agian Sizwe promised to send an authorisation whic he never did. I phoned again on 13 July and as ussual "hold on" - listened to their lousy music before being transferred to Sizwe....no response. Hung up and tried another number and talked to another consultant who promised to send me other forms. Waiting to see what will happen today (6 July)

I received phone call form different people who claimed they are representing Prokard. They debited my credit card and even sent me various hotel options. When I phoned to arrange a booking nobody answered the phone. Can somebody help to trace them so that I can retrieve my money
