The Rot at Rand West City Local municipality seriously needs to be studies. From their female staff members giving you a stinking attitude and not wanting to assist you, right to the municipality buildings that are falling apart. We got allocated our RDP homes in Borwa in February 2025 under Rand West City Municipality, to this day some of our electricity meter boxes are still not activated by the municipality, through no fault of our own. We have done everything we needed to do on our side and have taken the boxes to their offices, when we got there we were told there was no Network or No internet and asked to leave our details so that when our meters were activated, the activation numbers (40 digits) would be sent through WhatsApp messages, it is those WhatsApp messages that we are still waiting for weeks later. When you physically go back to their offices (which takes transport money to continue with the ups and downs), you get told they have no network and you must be patient. Activating / Registering an electric meter box takes less than 5mins but the black ladies at that office seem to think that people should wait 40 days and 40 nights for their registration. Meanwhile, in their own homes, they have electricity 🙄. Why is an entire municipal office out of Network / internet? Who must buy internet connection for the Rand West City Municipality? Why must new house beneficiaries be made to jump through hoops to get basic services - services that they are going to be paying for ? Who do we complain to when their head office refused to even answer our calls? Who is going to help us?
Went to pick n Pay Westgate mall on Monday to drop off my customer's parcel at the designated Aramex drop box. I got there and was told that it would cost me R120 to send my parcel, I paid, got my way bill info, filled it out & dropped my parcel On Tuesday afternoon, my customer still had not received here parcel & proceeded to track it online. The tracking number came up as invalid. She alerted me & I tracked it on my side too, still invalid. I then chose the option to speak to an agent online and was transferred to someone named Kim. I told Kim what my issue was, she asked for my way bill number and confirmed that it was indeed invalid, she then asked that I send my way bill customer copy and details of my parcel, which I did. Kim told me their driver had "an uncontrollable delay" on Monday and that the issue would be sorted This afternoon, my tracking number is still invalid and Kim's new story is that the driver did not receive my parcel from their drop box and that the issue will be escalated for further investigation Meanwhile a Paxi delivery that was sent on the same day has arrived at a destination in a completely different province at a cost of just R60 Do yourselves a favor and stay away from Aramex south africa
So, useless Capitec bank just sent me a credit card statement for a credit card that i settled & CLOSED in 2018 Suddenly on the 25th of February 2021, they decide to charge me R40 for a "Monthly Credit Card Service Fee" and i must "rectify" "You have exceeded your credit limit of R0.00 with an amount of R40.00, please make payment to rectify" R40.00 buys two loaves of bread, i'm not about to donate it to these criminals. I'm also not about to waste my airtime calling their useless call centre either Then they follow their emailed statement with an sms notifying me that "payment will be collected by debit order on 19 March". A whole debit order!! Authourised by whom? Well done Capitec, you've reached a whole new level of incompetence! If you value your peace of mind, stay away from this so called bank
I'm beyond infuriated with this fast and furious company. 2 Days after receiving an sms confirming my Avon Delivery both my customers and I are still waiting. I'm at a point where I feel like selling Avon products is just not worth my while, all thanks to this fast and furious company. They are beyond useless.
