Good day On 11 August 2021, a Consumer Complaints Investigator escalated a case to Ms Sanele Mthuli of the Consumer Protector for institution of proceedings in the Consumer Tribunal. I have tried by to get ahold of Ms Sanele Mthuli via email to no luck. I again called the Consumer Protector office in JHB and spoke to a guy called Alpheus who advised that Ms Sanele is working from home and he will liaise with her and provide feedback thereafter. I have since not heard anything from neither of the two and have tried calling the office back but phone is not being answered anymore. On 18 Nov 2021, I forwarded an email to complaints@ipid.gov.za in order to lay a formal complaint but have not received any response nor an automatic reply to show that my email has been received. I am disappointed at the service received and am not sure if I will get the necessary assistance at the rate things are going.
25 September 2015 i upgraded to a Samsung S6 after updating software phone started having freezing problems to an extend that the phone switched off even though the battery was full. Returned phone to mtn n it was booked in for a warranty assessment n due to the phone having a dent the assessment was rejected. Instead of booking phone for repair they returned it after 2wks. Had to call in myself a couple of times to check for feedback since they never contacted me since<br> taking the phone. Went to store to collect phone today and some accesories missing in the box, now phone has to be returned to the repair centre so they can put back missing items which will again take 2wks before receiving phone bck. This means that i am paying for a phone that i do not have and again do not understand why an assessment was not done as the dent on the phone has nothing to do with software issues. As a valued customer i do not accept to wait that long for a minor issue to be resolved. I then requested a settlement amount and once again i get questions thrown at me as to why ive taken the decision and not what i have requested. Am so dissapointed that i am gonna buy out of the contract. Bad service
