Paid for delivery of 6m3 filling sand 6 weeks ago!! Sand delivered and signed for at wrong address even though I sent my address and the exact google maps pin. Tried to enquire about the delivery and was told I need to speak to person who signed for the sand to discuss ways to get the sand moved, even though I have no idea of who these people are. I was continuously promised delivery, but nothing happened. Due to urgency of needing the sand, I sourced the sand that I needed elsewhere. I asked this company to arrange a refund but they said they needed to obtain funds from the person who received the sand first. Nothing is happening, still waiting for refund 6 weeks after sand was delivered to wrong place. No apologies given except excuses. Cannot get in contact with a manager or the owner to complain. My advice, never use these people no matter what!

I have still not had any joy from the staff or managers of the Cape Gate Builders Warehouse branch!! After breaking the windscreen of my bakkie, it has been over one week and still has not been repaired!! First the branch manager said that my own insurance must pay for the damages and builders warehouse will cover the cost of the excess, I told the manager that this is ********** Then they phone me saying that I must obtain 3 quotes and send it to them, then they will transfer money into my bank account?! How does this company operate? This is total idiotic.

Whoever the representative (sorry computer auto response) who responds to this, don't tell me that management has been informed because that will not help (like my last complaint)...I think the owners (and board of directors) need to know how their managers are treating it's customers...this is pathetic.

I was at Cape Gate Builder Warehouse buying some gutters, facia boards and a few other odds and ends. While two of the guys working in the contractors loading area were loading they shoved the facia boards into the back of my bakkie through the small back window. They pushed the facia boards in so hard that the review mirror bent completely up and in so doing cracked my front windscreen. When I reported it to the security they got the Yard Manager/Supervisor out who simply took my details, and took one photo. I was given the number of the person who was to handle this, a Mr Hein Mostert. When I phoned him (he never phoned me), he said there was a lot to consider and he needed to look at CCTV footage and he would see if he could find some time to complete this by the end of that day - this was a couple of days ago already. He is yet to phone me back to organise my window to be replaced. The level of commitment to a loyal (was loyal) customer is disgusting, to say the least.

I complained about \False promises & fail to refund pro-rata"and after not receiving any feedback either way"
In Oct-14, while travelling with my wife in Durban, we was approached by a sales person who requested we scratch a lucky ticket which could potentially win us a prize. After scratching, the person said that we had won a free holiday overseas, but we would have to come to their offices there and listen to a 30-minute lecture about their product.
After hearing about club, we were interested in signing up because of the many destinations that they offered at promised discounted prices. We signed up for a 10year contract paying an admin fee, a deposit of R18 500 and an annual fee of R1286.16.
After trying to sign up on the internet for the \free holiday"";they have totally refused any pay back. Staff are rude and do not give references for my calls"""
