Pension funds being delayed to be released , after Baragwanath HR department submitted death claim documents on the 05 November with a waybill number proving documents where sent and received, to this date no communication whatsoever GDF and GEPF regarding the payment of the Pension funds. No response to emails and the calls are not answered.
My Mom had 2 pension funds policies and during the 2nd week of September 2020 I submitted a claim as I am the only beneficiary on the policies. Metropolitan said that I need a letter from the GEPF showing the I am the beneficiary in order for funds to be released. What I dont understand is why that is a requirement because on the 2 Metropolitan policies it clearly states that I am the only beneficiary. I was able to get a letter from the GEPF showing that I am a beneficiary for the Government pension funds. I sent this letter to client service but no feedback as yet. Please respond asap with regards to the payment of the funds.
Worst experience I have received as a beneficiary of my late moms educational plan for me. I first submitted my claim on 11/09/2020 and I was told everything is fine and should expect payout. I later returned on 17/09/2020 to sign a withdrawal form to release the funds only to then find out I got an incorrect form. I returned on 28/10/2020 and I was given another incorrect form to fill and I was promised that funds would be released but still nothing. I returned on 06/11/2020 and yet again another incorrect form. I returned on 28/11/2020 I was given another incorrect form to release funds due to me. On 03/12/2020 I called the support center and I was sent another form to fill which I signed and sent back with all relevant documentation ... And I have not received any response. For the amount of patience I've been having you guys should make this claim a high priority because I cannot wait any longer. Focus on this claim and give me a call ASAP
