This vehicle was brought to your establishment for repairs regarding an oil leak. We choose Metro Auto Ford as an agent for Ford SA. The oil leak was repaired at a cost of nearly <br> R 30 000-00 which was promptly paid upon request. The vehicle was apparently tested by Metro Auto Ford and we were told that it is in a good working condition. <br> <br> After we collected the vehicle it was driven for not even 4km before it could no longer be moved. Your establishment was contacted and advised of a loud noise coming from the gearbox. Your mechanic advised us that the noise will disappear as soon as the oil has worked through the system. The vehicle was returned to Metro Auto Ford to investigate.<br> <br> The circumstances surrounding the gearbox were explained to you from the beginning of this affair. Your mechanics acknowledged that the gearbox was opened at the bottom at least twice in an effort to locate any blockages and fix the problem. On both occasions the oil was drained and kept for re-use by your mechanics as they claimed it may be used in such a manner.<br> <br> End of the story is that the gearbox need to replaced at considerable cost to me.<br>
