Absolutely pathetic service!! Placed otder based on the misleading info on their website regarding available stock and still I have not received my order after two weeks! No correspondence from them to keep me updated. Stay away from Foto Discount World!!
More than two week ago we lodged a complaint at Makro Cape Gate with the sales person who sold us the Fridge - Clive, regarding a Hisense fridge we bought a little bit more than a year ago. The fridge is faulty as it is does not turn cold but the freezer is working. After a couple of days the Hisense agent came out and told us that we need to turn the firdge off for a while and it will then be ok...So we did it and for a while it did work. A day later the same problem occur. We lost fresh milk, vedgetables during this period. So we lodged another complaint at Marko and another and...two weeks later we are still having the same problem with continous promises from Clive and Gawie that they have contacted Hisense...but still we have not received any feedback form Hisense. We now had enough of these empty promises and needs someone on a higher level to take action. I bought the firidge from Makro and not from Hisense and we need it fixed or replaced. I always rated Makro Cape Gate highly, but I did not expect such incompetence dealing with a complaint and to get a solution to the satisfaction of the customer.
