I placed an order online for the buy one get one free sale, and that was on the 22 march, till to date no feedback. I haven't received my delivery, I can't even track the order or delivery. Called multiple of times, consultants kept on taking my details but I haven't heard anything even now.
Good day, I would like to lodge a formal complaint against Vodacom regarding a contract I took out in March 2022. The contract was for 24 months, which means it should have ended in March 2024. However, we are now in the 36th month, and I was recently informed by your call center that I still owe R1080. I have consistently paid my monthly installment of R369 since the start of the contract, even after losing the phone approximately one year into the agreement. Despite not having the device, I continued making payments, as I understood I was still bound by the contract. To my surprise, I only became aware of this outstanding balance after contacting Intellicell myself. I have also noticed that I am still being debited R369 monthly, even though the contract has already expired. When I spoke to an agent, I was told that I am now being charged for “benefits.” However, I have never used the SIM card, and since I lost the phone within the first year, I do not understand what benefits I am supposedly receiving or being charged for. Furthermore, at no point was I informed that I needed to give 30 days’ notice to cancel the contract. I have requested a copy of my contract multiple times, and to date, I have not received it. This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and I believe I am being unfairly charged for services I have not used or agreed to. I request a full investigation into this matter and a resolution as soon as possible. Please also provide me with a copy of my contract as requested
Maigot, now you take the cup, just called Vodacom line now to do sim swap, was just advised i was handed over to legal because i have an outstanding balance of R139 that i dont know about, even after the settlement balance of -+R8500 i paid on the 02/10/2021, they still say i am owing and even worse, handed over, my credit record affected. i cant take this anymore. after being with Vodacom for so long, i am so disappointed. my contracts are still cancelled, i dont know what to do anymore. i am thinking of even changing my number to a different network.
On the 2nd of October, I called to get settlement balance for all my contacts. I paid the settlement immediately then called in 3days later to request an early termination or cancelation, what ever its called. They told me settlement request was canceled, so they need to issue me another one. Okay no problem. I agreed. But I still mentioned to the consultant that I have been paid already. She gave another settlement balance, I sent proof of payments. Then she advised I need to be credited back as I paid extra. She logged the query, I received a ref for it. But today I am calling to check how far my request to cancel or terminate my contracts is, but I was advised there no request for cancelation or termination was sent through. So my account are still active. I am so irate about this and also it's like the consultant don't even have empathy, they don't have solutions. Nothing. Just told me she can't assist me and that I need to call cancelation dept again tomorrow to log yet another request. I always thought so highly of Vodacom because all my queries were always auctioned with no issues, am surprised this is the worst experience I am having with them.
