We had booked a flight for my mother of 74 from Jhb to Durban through Flysafair. We noticed afterwards that we could request assistance for her from the check in counter to her gate. We contacted the call centre to add this to her flight. We were asked if she had a wheelchair, and we said no, she is able to walk up the stairs to the plane, bit needs assistance through the airport as she is elderly and can only walk short distances. This was confirmed with the call centre agent, and the agent said it was added to her flight, as there was still assistance available. When she arrived there, they told her that it was not booked, and they couldn't help her. She had to walk all the way to the gate, which is quite a distance. She was tired and nearly collapsed.
I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and professional service I received from Warren. I was kept up to date with the progress of my bike. Upon receiving my bike they even supp**** me with some extras. I would recommend and most certainly use them in future.
Placed a order at Jennys Brakpan. The complete order was not delivered. After phoning to sort out they said they would send shortly. A hour later I call and they have no answer. Then twice they put the phone down in my ear. This is pathetic service and they will not see me again. Jenny's train your staff how to speak to customers and sort out your your problems. I am very very disappointed and disgusted with you. You where my favourite takeaway bit that changed tonight.
Give us an option yo give zero stars. 1 is too much for DSTV. I made payment on the 27th of May. I have been disconnected about 6 times this month. I have sent POP to 5 different people and the email for proof of payment. They say the delay and problem is on their side. I have spent 4 hours on the phone with DSTV this month. Most pathetic and incompetent bunch of people working there. Save yourself endless problems and look for another provider to use.
I have paid my account. Then I got disconnected due to their inability to allocate payments. Spent 3 hours yesterday to sort it out. Today I am disconnected again. They are adding costs of +-R 50 p/day. I sent proof of payment from my banking app. Then got told to send screen shots. How incompetent are the staff from DSTV? I have a senior citizen sitting at home and can now not even watch TV. DSTV you are pathetic.
I flew from Johannesburg to New York on 11 December 2015. From there I had a connecting flight to Reno with Jet Blue. No problems with flight or luggage.<br> <br> On 8 January 2016 it was time to return. Flight was from Reno on Jet Blue to New York and then with SAA to Johannesburg. When I wanted to check my luggage for my flight I was told that SAA would not allow my Bicycle as the dimensions was to big. I told the lady that I flew in from JHB with the exact same luggage and there was no problem. <br> <br> The lady spent 45 minutes sending emails and on the phone with SAA. She was told that because my first flight out of the US is on another carrier they would not allow my bicycle to be checked as baggage. <br> I had to leave my bicycle at the airport and now do not have a bicycle anymore. <br> <br> The cost of my bike is R40 000. Who is going to replace my bicycle? I do not have the money to replace it. I payed my air fair and had no problem flying there. Why was I not told that I would not be able to return with it? <br> <br> I am very disappointed in SAA and would not use or recommend SAA to anybody in future.
