I brought my daschshund into Greenside Animal Hospital after he was hit by a car outside our premises. He was in a very bad way. The vet took Xrays and administered medication and then advised that they were not a 24 hours hospital and that I needed to decide if I wanted to put him down or take him to the Fourways Animal Hospital. I decided to take him to Fourways Animal Hospital as I was just not willing to give up on him so quickly. I walked out of the vet's room, holding my stiff, bleeding dog and the receptionist called the helper at Greenside Animal Hospital to see me to my car, to help me open the car door. As I had no free hands as I was carrying my bleeding Dachshund, the receptionist at no point said, Please put down your dog and make payment. She understood I was referred to Fourways Animal Hospital as they were closing. When I arrived at Fourways Animal Hospital, the doctor checked for information on the referral i.e. the X-rays that had been taken at Greenside Animal Hospital and the medication that had already been administered so that the vet could pick up from there. Unfortunately nothing came through from Greenside Animal Hospital, no Xrays and no information on medication administered. The vet explained that unfortunately meant re-doing the Xrays and not being able to administer further medication due to having no knowledge of what was given already. The vet and I were both upset and shocked that nothing had been sent through. However after explaining this to Greenside Animal Hospital, they said they would still charge me the full amount. Even though I had to re-pay for the very same Xrays at Fourways and my dog not being able to receive further medication if required, as there was no data given to them by Greenside. The owner of Greenside Animal Hospital did not care about the service I was given. It was of no concern to him that I had to pay for Xrays again and that the vet had no information from them, even though I was referred by them. All he said to me is that I should have paid on departure, even after explaining to him that the receptionist asked the helper to get me into the car and obviously did not ask me to make payment as it would have meant putting my bleeding lame dog onto the ground. I am disgusted by the lack of integrity and empathy based on the error that Greenside Animal Hospital made. Surely it is common courtesy to withdraw the bill due to me re-paying for Xrays and the vet not receiving referral info on medication given. I will not be paying for this bill, based on it being very clear what is right and wrong and there being no room for questioning this matter. Greenside Animal Hospital has lost all my family members and friends as their customers due to this. And instead of making this right, they continue to bully me for the account.
I have now lived at Marann Mansions for 1.5 years and still my snags as per the sales agreement are not fixed. My bathroom is painted in two different blues. I have sent them a pic but they refused to help further. Paint is falling off all the ceilings. They must have used the wrong or the cheapest paint and a lot of buyers are spending a lot of money on painting and on repairs of cheap material used. Taps, kitchen cupboard doors are just to name a few. What shabby workmanship. Pity one can no longer upload photos. So much work was left incomplete, outside fences were not finished painting, no landscaped gardens as asdvertised, broken stairs, bricks and paving all around. Would not deal with these guys ever again.
What I asked for and what I ended up with were two different tattoos (unfortunately unable to attach the photos on the new Hellopeter site but mail me for it at ********** Fallen Heroes offered to pay for my laser removal to have the tattoo removed and apologised, but due to having had a keloid before, I am afraid of going the laser removal route. Think long and hard before you get a tattoo at Fallen Heroes - this was a very simple tattoo to get right. The sizing is wrong, even though I told Nicole (the artist) that she should increase it but she maintained it was the right size (I trusted the artist). The shading was not done correctly. Thys (I think he is the owner) apologised as he said Nicole was only good at line work and should have not done shading work and had been reprimanded for this before. Why I ask, does this happen again then? As a result the fullness and abstract style of the rose was lost and I am left with a permanent marking on my shoulder / collar bone (such a visible area!) that I really don't like! Heart-broken. I wrote a review on their Facebook page and in turn received a response there that I was lying, and several staff members used laughing emoticons as a response on my review post. Not an experience I would wish upon anyone. Tattoos are sacred and pretty permanent. Establishments like Fallen Heroes should treat them as such.
I was informed by Coleman Properties that they were paid out by the insurance company for repairs on my garage roof that is leaking and that they would transfer funds to me and I could get my own contractor to fix the roof as the quote received via their contractor would have meant me paying an additional R 6000 out of my own pocket which I was not willing to do as after a private contractor looked at the job he advised that the quote of 16k was overpriced.

28 hours later they advise that they will not pay the funds across to me and that the Body Corporate is responsible for the repair of the roof. In the interim I have contracted someone privately and paid them a deposit. They refuse to give me the insurance company's name and policy no. and to pay me the funds to cover what I have paid already although they advised payment would be made to me yesterday already.

Last year I waited two months to be paid back for a claim I paid for upfront for broken glass sliding door.

I asked them for four months to update the address on my levy statement. I have asked them over and over again not to post my levy statement as I receive it electronically, no joy.

And I pay for this service!
