To whom it may concern I write,for a lack of a better word,fear of being victimised ie more delay on me being paid MY PROVIDENT FUND AND HOURS OWED. I am a former employee of House and Home Natal D.C. I Placed my resignation on the 1st of December 2017,giving the company the mandatory one months notice. My final working day would be on the 1st of January 2018.On the 27th of January 2018,I received my salary from House and Home but when I checked my salary with my payslip,I realised that I was not paid for 1 Sunday in December 2017. I contacted the manager,Sagran,he asked me to email my payslip to him,which I did,and that he will sort it out. On the 27th of Feb 2018 I did not receive my payment for the 1 Sunday that I worked and I also did not get paid for the 1 st of January 2018,a public holiday,that I worked. I contacted the branch only to be told that Sagran had resigned. I spoke to the new manager there now,Nitesh,he told me that he would check and get back to me.He never got back to me. I phoned him and he said that he checked and that Sagran,the previous manager,did not put through my hours. He said that he would now sort it out for me. I contacted him a day later and he said that he submitted the hours to the payroll dept and he said that I would be paid on the next off cycle.I never got a call from Nitesh nor did I get paid on that off cycle. On the 27th of March 2018 I still did not receive my payment. I contacted Nitesh and he said he would contact the payroll dept and get back to me.He did not get back to me. I contacted Nitesh on the 28th of March 2018,he told me that the company was on strike and that he was busy and did not contact the payroll dept but assured me that he will and phone me. He did not phone me. On the 29th of March 2018,I phoned Nitesh and he said that he is very busy and that he would contact the payroll dept and get back to me. Did anyone else see a pattern here,I am told that he will call and he doesn't. A lot of questions arise now. If I,as a FORMER EMPLOYEE,is being treated like this,how are the current customers and employees being treated? I was a diligent employee throughout my 5 years working at the D.C. I was scheduled to work on that Sunday in December but I was not paid for it. I was scheduled to work on the 1st of January,a public holiday but was not paid for it.I held up my end,as a then employee,why is the company not holding up there end? Did the payroll dept deliberately not pay me or did the managers not do what they were supposed to do? I don't know the answers to these questions.Maybe to the payroll dept or the managers 1 Sunday not paid and 1 public holiday not paid,doesn't make a difference to them? To me it does. I ask that someone who has answers to get back to me. Why am putting this issue here? it is because,first and foremost this is a service issue.I had previous issue with the salary,in my past 5 years but they were sorted out because I was always around to remind the manager to sort it out. I bought Energizer batteries in Dec 2015,entered the promo competion and won.I called the next day and spoke to Virginia.She said that I did win and that she'll call me later,she didn't.I called and there was no reply.I called back a week later and she told me that I won a Russell Hobbs blender and it'll be delivered in the 3rd week of January.On the 22nd of Jan 2016,I called her and she said that blenders are with the couriers and that I'll receive it next week.It's the 10th of Feb and there is no delivery or any contact from Virginia.Why run a promo when you'll can't keep to your promise?
