They promised to call me back yesterday amd did not. Today I asked to speak to the Foreman and he does not call back either. I am told my vehicle may possibly be ready tommorrow. In my opinion, the word "possibly" actually means it won't be ready tomorrow. I ask to speak to the Service Manager - no luck either. In today's society where there is so much unemployment, one would at least expect those who have customer facing jobs, to at least be good at them, else give someone the job who can offer good customer service. They have had my vehicle for over a month now.

I stopped at Caltex 1-Stop The Ranch, Polokwane to get some help with a puncture. I am a tourist and the pump attendant said they could repair the puncture by putting a plug in the hole. They repaired it and then charged me R200 to do this! What is worse is that they gave me a receipt from the card machine that did not even say I had a puncture repair - it said I put in fuel for R200. What a rip off! They have exploited me as a person seeking help. I know that it does not cost R200 to plug a puncture. At most it is between R70 - R100. This kind of behavior will cause you reputational damage. I would rather run out of fuel than stop at that place.
I have never come across such poor customer support. I logged a fault for fibre to the home a week ago. It has not even been assigned to a technician. What's worse is they don't voluntarily tell you this. First you have to spend hours in the call centre queue to be told they are too busy in the area. I drive the area and see no Telkom vehicles around. I guess they are too busy signing up customers for fibre to the home on their promotion deals, and installing fibre that they have no one left to attend to technical faults. So they are very happy to take your money for the fibre, but then heaven help you (Telkom won't) if you ever experience a technical fault. Who is going to pay me back for the data that I pay for but am forced not to use because of the fault which no one attends to? Are they going to credit me? I do not know who to turn to for help. You can't escalate a call once it's been escalated. Telkom don't even bother to keep the customer in the loop. Frustrated! My children have homework to do for which they require Internet. I think we need to start looking at alternative service providers.
